This is a good hire for Charlotte, should drastically improve their football team. I can only imagine the meltdown with JMU fans as I am certain they view Charlotte as an inferior football team and school.

They, like many of our own, are delusional to what constitutes a “good move” by a HC.

You are correct, they are losing their mind and can’t believe their beloved head coach would leave them for Charlotte. If you’re an FCS coach, there’s no such thing as a “bad” FBS gig. Just like if you’re a G5 coach, there’s no such thing as a bad P5 gig.

They still have a looooonnggggg way to go. He will dramatically improve their program, but they are coming off a 5-7 season and still have a tough “college environment” to recruit to.

Houston will likely be a good FBS coach, but you gotta love those few folks that call themselves 49er fans. They are fawning all over Houston after spending the past 7 years telling us how FCS accomplishments don’t count.

Houston to UNC, Charlotte has not been confirmed. I bet we have a strong shot of landing him if Satt leaves. Their tears would be delish.
