Liberty takes down Troy

I know most of you hate Liberty but I love their college and team. Great play today from them to take down Troy! Well about a min left in the game.... But you get the idea.

I don’t hate them, but I was pulling for our Sun Belt Conference-mate to get the win and keep our standing as the No. 3 G5.

Didn’t see this one coming. Thought even with the backup QB Troy was well ahead of Liberty. Especially after their NMST game (which I see ULL is up 14-0 on them).

I don't think some of you realize that our conference payout is based on conference performance. So, Troy losing potentially results in App losing money.

Being ranked is only chance to get the big bowl. UCF did not look good today. They lose 1 or 2, we could pass them, but if everyone we play sucks, not gonna happen. Troy sucks, Ark State sucks, Georgia Southern sucks and those are the best teams in our conference.

Not worried, just fun to root for it, you don’t want us ranked? Not good for the program?

Sign me up for someone who would like to see us ranked and continue to grow our brand nationally.

Being ranked would be awesome but as others have mentioned, we need all of our SBC brethren to win OOC games to improve the conference’s overall standings with regards to the CFP payout. Plus it helps App’s SOS if our opponents have better records.
