Good interview (video) with Monken. I don't like GSU but did pull for them against NDSU. Monken references the bone-headed penalties by Russell, without mentioning name.

ND had a few bone headed plays also. Roughing kicker and holding on a long run by QB

I watched the game and actually pulled for GSU too, and that's hard for me to admit. I have always thought Russell to be a heck of a player but his actions the evening after we beat them and then those bone-headed penalties last night were really, really dumb.

Russell is obviously a very good player, but he's a punk. A thug with no class. My opinion of him just keeps going down. However, GSU looked the part. I couldn't decide who to pull for.

If not for that 'roughing' the punter penalty (the guy barely grazed his foot), NDSU has the ball on the GSU 30 up by 3. Punch it in and they go up by 2 scores and win much easier.

We have our coach, now I guess we play the waiting game on FBS.

GSU has some really good running backs. How many people did Swope run over when he caught the ball across the middle to score? I watched the game and enjoyed it as a good game. GSU is a great example of how important the kicking game is. Their special teams is where they lost that game last night. Cant kick a field goal or extra point for that matter. If I were Monkin I would be hot on the trail of a GOOD kicker.

GSU's secondary was flat terrible for much of the night. NDSUs QB just couldn't put the ball on target to take advantage.
