This rule really is illogical but alas it's a rule. I agree if you are transitioning up none of your wins in conference should count. Now the attorney general in Va is threatening a lawsuit. Wow

What I see coming from the lawsuit is, not enough teams become bowl eligible, JMU gets in a bowl, then it goes away...or JMU doesn't make a bowl game and the school earns some $$$ which does nothing for the athletes, but helps the school

Glad they had Pete Thamel on to Pat's show to bring some type of logic and reality to the situation. Came out and said flat out, 0 of 4 committees went with JMU, how could you expect that to change? Not like they just need to pursuade 1 of the 4 committees. And that at this point it's up to the legal side, which could/will likely take some time.

Pat's show is more of a bro show though, and I don't think it will be the same tomorrow during Game Day. The crowd will do their chants, Cignetti will be on but will probably discuss the game more than what he did today, they'll discuss for a brief segment, but won't talk about it non stop.
