"Putting Christ at the center of the huddle" is pretty strong language. One would assume that Christian messages would be a central theme of his coaching if he made the mistake of saying something so inflammatory to the media.
But that is just an assumption after all. There's a chance it's not as intense as it seems since this is one isolated comment. Seems pretty unlikely though.
Leave Christ out of the huddle?

The coach chooses the eleven players on the field, they will decide if there is anyone else in the huddle.
