Congrats to that kid. When he turned down the scholarship from App for a PWO to Clemson I thought it was a mistake and he'd ride the bench four years. Boy was I wrong, that guy is a football player.Lowcountry App wrote:Looks like that PWO offer from Clemson worked out for Hunter Renfrow.

Even though it was long, that was a heck of a ballgame. Deshaun put on an Armantiesque performance.

Re: NC Game
Great game front to back. I was pulling for Clemson the whole time, but I don't understand bamas thought process in the first half. Their D was rattling Watson and Clemson couldn't slow down Bo. So how does he only get 9 first half carries? Youre kidding me right? At a minimum he should have had 15 carries in the first half, yes he got hurt in third but that has nothing to do with the first half. I honestly believe Bama could secured the game in the first half of they just fed Bo and demoralized Clemson D. But no they let them hang around and they paid for it. Credit for Clemson for staying in the fight.

Felt like Lane Kiffin never left at times with the questionable all pass plays that led to the and outs. I credit Clemson for making adjustments, anxious to see how they replaced Watson. Bama will be back in sure.

Re: NC Game
Great game by Clemson. They kept 8 in the box and 11 within 10 yards of scrimmage and dared Bama to go deep. They only got burned one time and kept Bama running game fairly in check most of the game. Watson and his receivers were magic in the forth quarter. There were 3 or 4 great catches by the WR's for Clemson.

Re: NC Game
Bama should have keep running the ball, but it seemed like they got off track once Clemson finally got on the scoreboard. Until then the Tigers were on the ropes. Credit their defense for keeping them in the game until the offense founds its groove.

“I think my faith in God really got me through,” Renfrow said. “Just passing up the money to go to App State and coming to play for a guy like coach Swinney and a quarterback like Deshaun has been special.”
This guy reminds me of Sims McElfrish.

Re: NC Game
Nothing wrong with Bama offense...they scored enough points to win. The vaunted Bama defense which led the nation in defensive scoring did not do its job.
