Glad we don't have to worry about it this year.

lines are already too long at Coastal. This will make it worse. No premium items though, just your basic hot dog and chips
What if the whole strategy is to make the lines really long for the low profit margin items and drive people to the higher profit margin items…In which case devious and brilliant.

Wonder if they will run out of hot dogs and nachos.

Soda is a money maker. The cost is minimal. They aren’t losing money on giving away soda.
This is a double win for the airplane bottle crowd.

I would do this in Holmes for paying customers next season. Charge $20 for adults/$15 for kids and do Hot Dogs, Chips, Sodas and Nachos. In 2.5 hours, you're not going to lose money and in certainly could boost attendance and get families in the building for weekend games. You still have the opportunity to sell other concessions, beer and souvenirs.

I wonder if this is successful if we will benefit from the fallout like everyone is benefitting from NIL.

So I used to do business with the company that's managing the mobile app that is required to be used in order to get the free concessions.

Said company has turned into a data mining company instead of software development company. They make their money by selling data from their software now. They no longer make money by creating software.

Do with that what you will.

I remember being at a home game a few years ago and early in the first quarter a family in front of us left their seats presumably to get concessions. I swear they didn’t get back until the second quarter. I have no idea where they went. Whenever I go to a game there is no way I’m burning have a quarter standing in a long line for a hot dog. How many average fans will want to miss chunks of games simply for free food?

Makes sense how they are paying for those concessions now.
