I'm more curious in what college credits and degrees he has at this point. The medical redshirt are whatever at this point. What do you do for 9 years? That's a PhD or a bachelor and 2 or so masters.

The Athletic did a report on him. Turns out he has a bachelors in journalism and a masters in advertising already. Sounds like he could go to the booth when he’s done.

Thats really cool. I'm glad he didn't just screw around. At Miami he will make enough connections to make the booth a possibility.

I don't mind that he wants to play. I do think it's ridiculous that the NCAA allowed it. Nothing matters anymore.

My understanding is he got a three-year medical waiver because his injury was so significant that he was out that long. He will have only played five seasons. I think the NCAA got this one right.

One one year is Covid year so not that bad. Still a long time to be hanging around college ball but there is clearly a good reason. I think ECU had a 7 year player a few years ago even before Covid gave a free year to all.
