We are in need of someone to take over the maintenance of the MMB. Yosef has done it for a long time, and we are grateful for all he has done, but life happens and he no longer has the time to devote to its upkeep. If anyone here is interested in helping to keep the board running, please let me know via DM.

Sam Martin
Martin is quietly building an amazing career. He's only 33. He could have 7-8 more solid years.
Entering season 11 career stats:
13th all time avg at 46.2 per punt.
64th on total yards at 30,170. He avgs 3k a year. If he gets just 2500 per year for the next 7 he will be about 15th all time.
72nd on total punts at 659. Needs 399 to break the top 20. So 56.57 per year for the next 7.
He's only had 3 punts blocked.
45th on punts inside the 20 with 239. He's 140 away from top 10. He averages 23.9 per year. In 7 that's 167.3. He could do it.
I know a lot of a punters career is extremely dependent on the team they are on, but in his current situation I think he's got a good shot at these.

Re: Sam Martin
Did some math on Sam last year. If correct he has made over $10k (might be over $20k) per punt in his career. That's the gig to have for 10-15 years!

Re: Sam Martin
That whiffed tackle caused some funny texts in the group chat last night! Don’t blame him one bit for dodging that one.

Re: Sam Martin
Sam pulled his hamstring in the Pittsburgh playoff game. Even with the injury he got off a 42 yard punt.

He used his third leg to kick that one. He's had a heck of a career. 57th in total punting yards and tied for 15th in yards per punt in a career.

Would've loved to see the Bills advance last night. One of my closest friends was a full-on Bills fan through thick and thin, but he passed away back in July.

Re: Sam Martin
I'm now officially a "long time suffering" Panthers "fan". I said a year or so ago that I now know what it's like to be a Lions fan as we have apparently taken their place as the dog crap of the league. Grew up a Skins fan so I got to enjoy beating the Bills during their famous run of losing the SB to include a couple of wide rights. Give Sam credit for roughing it out last night. Hopefully he's got a few more seasons in him.
