I think this is a good move for him. Wishing him best of luck. I always thought CFL or XFL or USFL would be where he has a good 5-10 year career, if he is willing to play in a secondary league long term.

I don't see him making it a career, not for lack of talent, but I think he gives it a three or so years run to see what happens, if nothing, then moves on with life.

That is why I said “if he is willing to” because I’m not sure he is. He could do it but many do it for just a few years and then decide to move on for sure. I completely understand why many do move on. They don’t make a lot of money and their bodies take a similar beating to NFL players. I say similar because the game isn’t quite as fast but still wears on their bodies.
