Nick Hampton for sure and I say he goes between early 4th to late 5th round.

After him is the tough pick because Hodges, Jones, and Peoples could get drafted or go undrafted. Expect all 4 of them plus Pearson, Brice, and Hardy to all get a shot in a camp. Lawson might get a tryout.

Hampton - crazy thing this week, I was in a B&N and they had 2 NFL Draft magazines - don't remember which ones but both we big names - One had Hampton as the 3rd best Edge rusher and a late 1st or early 2nd pick --- the other had him as a 5th-6th rounder

I think Hampton is a lock to get drafted. I could see 4th round but really think 5th or early 6th is most likely.

Peoples was at the combine as well so he could but he has medical and off field concerns. Both Hodges and Jones had official visits and private workouts with NFL teams so they could get drafted, even though odds might not be high for it.

I really believe 4-5 of our players make a 53-man roster. People don't realize how bad some of our coaches and the strength/conditioning was last year. We had more talent than a 6-6 team.

I remember seeing that. Athlon had him in 5th-6th and Lindy's had him in 1st-2nd. I have been expecting 4th or 5th with a hope that he might sneak into 3rd round.

I feel like a premium has been boosted up on edge rushers by way of the first round. Hampton in the mid 4th, Hodges and Jones in the 6th-7th.

You and others might be right but don't be shocked if Hodges or Jones gets drafted since they both had visits with teams where they took medical tests.

Part of me won't be surprised if Cam Peoples is drafted in 5-7 due to his tools but with his medical and character concerns I can see him being undrafted.

It blows my mind each passing year as these players keep getting bigger, stronger, and faster. Hampton is listed 6'2" 236 lbs and is considered undersized for an LB. The top-rated OLB left is 6'2" 240 with the same comment. These dudes are rock walls. It's nuts that this is now undersized.

I don't know. I mean, the Chiefs had one rookie LB at 250; everyone else on their roster is between 228 and 243. Bengals have five LBs between 220 and 245. Fred Warner and Roquan Smith were both Pro Bowlers at 230. Panthers are reportedly planning to move Jeremy Chinn back to a hybrid LB role at 220.

Obviously that's not the body type if we're talking 3-4 OLBs who are basically DEs, but teams need LBs who can run and cover.

Off field concerns for Cam? Just say you’re making stuff up and move on lol. Cam may not get drafted because of how devalued the RB position is and his medical. But to say he has off the field concerns to NFL teams is laughable and frankly not true

He does have some concerns beyond medical. You will notice that the most connected people on here are not arguing with me. The reason for that is because they don't want to trash him but also don't want to lie either.

Cam is a special talent so he could get drafted but I have to think there are only a few teams who might draft him because of combo of locker room fit and medical. It only take one team though so we will see.

For the record, I would be shocked if Nick Hampton and Cooper Hodges both are not drafted today.

To prove any off the field issues with any App athlete is just as difficult as it is to refute that there were actually issues. The lack of information that comes off the mountain can be both frustrating and a blessing.

That can be true. NFL people hear the truth but Shawn and the staff keep it pretty quiet with the public. They never drag a player's name in the mud and they have had situations where they absolutely could. There are only a couple media folks who seem to really hear what is going on and they keep quiet so they don't get cut off, which is smart. Coaches won't talk if they don't feel they can trust the person. They want to control the flow of info.
