Pass protection, health, and holding on to the ball. He's got everything else in spades, but those three things are huge in the NFL.
Agreed they are and RB coaches will believe they can fix 2 of those 3 issues. The good news for Cam is that he has a chance to fix those issues this season. He will attract a lot of NFL eyeballs this fall.

Kiper mispronounced our name when talking about Jackson before the draft this spring. No excuse for a man whose whole career is talking about college football.

I remember that and completely agree. Zero excuse for someone like that.

Kiper: part entertainer, part analyst, 100% douchebag.

Hate this for him but not shocked with that move. Hopefully he ends up in a secondary league or gets another chance in the NFL when injuries hit at least.

Did he have lingering injury issues?

He played portions of last year with a broken bone in his hand. He sat out the bowl to have surgery. Have no idea if the hand is his issue or if injuries are to blame.

This was just like 2 days after the highlight of him making that one-handed grab in camp, I really thought he had a good chance at the roster! Hope to hear more about this as I'm a fan, I don't think I've ever heard of someone retiring before they play?

Just my opinion... unless Peoples has spectacular games against Heels and A&M and then remains healthy to be productive back (1200 to 1500 yards) to where Noel is back to being a change of pace RB to give Peoples rest, Peoples will more than likely not be drafted. We also have Harrington. The backfield is loaded. As such, it does make it more difficult to put up crazy numbers...which you need most of the time as a G5 RB...This is a great position for team given the number of RBs however, may hurt individually when NFL teams are making a decision on talent....not saying People's shouldn't be drafted anyway, however, I do not see it happening unless the above happens.
With that said, hope he gets a FA contract and has a great career in the NFL. App St needs all the pros we can get..
And we also have Castle.....I wouldn't hesitate to hand him the ball on any critical 3rd and 1 or 4th and 1. He could legitimately be the 2nd RB on a lot of rosters. We're just loaded at the position.
