Glad I watched reruns of Pawn Stars instead of the game last night.

Re: AE and the Panthers
Gettis is on PUP, so he's out until at least the 6th week. Some saying he won't make it back this year. Helps AE a little I guess.

Yep, I'm tired of the Charlotte Panthers. What is the deal? I feel he is done there based on him being ignored for reps, and I can get on to not wasting several hours each week hoping to see him play.

Re: AE and the Panthers
Posted the info below on two Panthers message boards. Most fans believe it's down to TuTu and Edwards now...and most (but not all) want TuTu or neither).
To add gas to the whole AE vs Tutu debate...
Looked back at the stat lines from the first three games. Keeping in mind that Tutu played most of his downs with Cam and DA and Edwards played mostly with Jimmy “drop back 2 seconds and then run for my life” Clausen. (Edwards only with Pickles in game 1, one series with DA game 2, and 2 series with DA in game three)
Game 1:
TuTu: 1 rec for 12 yds / Edwards: 1 rec for 13 yds / 2 KR for 22.5 avg
Game 2:
TuTu: 1 rec for 6 yds / Edwards: 2 rec for 24 yds / 2 PR for 2.0 avg
Game 3:
TuTu: 0 rec (played 1st half and part of third quarter with 1’s & 2’s)
Edwards: 0 rec (played mid third quarter through end of game with 2’s & 3’s) / 1 tackle
Not on either players side....Just pointing out the facts. Up to everyone to make their own call.
(Put that last line in so the red haze of hate mist from the AE haters wouldn't cloud the responses)

Armanti is a better receiver but those stats can be misleading. WR needs to get separation and catch balls that are catchable. Being targeted doesn't mean you had good looks coming your way. How do you show game time talent if the ball doesn't come your way or you are playing with Clausen? It seems so random.

I feel your frustration. The coach chatter and media notes do not square with what we are seeing with AE on the field. I just wish somebody would level with us.

I'm with you my friend - I end up so anxed after watching a Panthers game because I so want Armanti to do well and then I get po-ed because he sees no real action - I am sick of it - even if he makes the roster he isn't going to play - if I knew for sure another team would pick him up and play him I would want to see him leave the Panthers today -Black Saturday wrote:Yep, I'm tired of the Charlotte Panthers. They said on Channel 3 WBTV Sports that Armanti was CUT by the Panthers.

Yeah, I checked a couple of sites and didn't see him being released.

Re: AE and the Panthers
just checked their depth chart which was just released - it has AE as 2nd WR behind LaFell and 2nd in PR and KR - take it for what it's worth ---

Talk about a collection of double-barrelled dummies, Carolina Huddle has them, no doubt. I didn't take me too long to figure out not to get pulled down to their level of stupid. I gave up on that urinal before quick.RankinApp wrote:That's not gonna make the peeps over at Carolina Huddle happy.![]()

Re: AE and the Panthers
As someone else said if this holds up there will be thermonuclear action on the panther huddle. Honestly there are more idiots on that forum than any that I have ever seen. Just incredible really.WVAPPeer wrote:just checked their depth chart which was just released - it has AE as 2nd WR behind LaFell and 2nd in PR and KR - take it for what it's worth ---

Re: AE and the Panthers
I think it would be good if AE were put on the practice squad. Cut Claussen and make the good guy the emergency qb. Then he is available to takeover for injuries to WR's and KR's.
