According to this morning's Greensboro News and Record the community of Pleasant Garden is starting a history museum. Edward R Murrow is one of the exhibits, and Dino Hackett is another.
I don't have a link from the N&R website and it is not possible to link to the e-edition that I know of. You may have to buy a copy of today's paper if you want to read about the museum. But it was a nice picture of Dino's HS jersey and a few paragraphs on Dino himself.
We are in need of someone to take over the maintenance of the MMB. Yosef has done it for a long time, and we are grateful for all he has done, but life happens and he no longer has the time to devote to its upkeep. If anyone here is interested in helping to keep the board running, please let me know via DM.

That appears to be a KC Chiefs jersey not a Southern Guilford Indians jersey. Good idea for Pleasant Garden. Glad to be able to say that Dino was a Mountaineer. I'll never forget the Wake Forest game when he took out the QB late in the game before the snap. OUCH.

I'll never forget that play either, trying to time the snap and jump over the line smashing the Wake QB... ALMOST worked. It was the only way we stood a chance at getting the ball back. Brilliant in my mind!goapps93 wrote:That appears to be a KC Chiefs jersey not a Southern Guilford Indians jersey. Good idea for Pleasant Garden. Glad to be able to say that Dino was a Mountaineer.
