Of course there is a lot of demand for 2 tickets for the season home opener. I am seeing prices on Stubhub of $600.00-$900.00. Can that really be true? Who would have thought just a few years ago.

Yep, not sure if people are paying that but that's what I've found as well. I'm sure they'll go down as we get closer to the game just like the Miami tickets did, but I'm also sure at least a few people are paying those prices.
All the more reason to get season tickets. Hopefully these "big games" become the norm in the future.

If people are stupid they will buy at that price. I can throw a number out there for my tickets as well doesn't mean I'm gonna get it. (IF i were going to sell) Just hold...price will come down. Hopefully as a ST holder i'll get a chance for the extra tickets.

Does not make season economically. Buy season tickets, sell other games at $25 to $50 each and you are good..

No that's not accurate. Every offseason some App fans list tickets for ridiculous prices on Stubhub. I've seen $150-200 for regular season games like ULM or Texas State and those type teams. I think we had Elon one year for homecoming or family weekend (or a similar caliber team), and people had tickets listed for $300-$400. IDK why they do this but no way that's accurate. Wait until the tickets are actually distributed and people start listing them to get a real idea of market value for UNC tickets.

You can’t get it, if you don’t ask.

Curious how the payout for the UNC game works. Do we keep all the gate? I assume we don't pay them anything and they kept all the gate in Chapel Hill and we got nothing. I believe the next game in Chapel Hill is a "payday" game for us?

That 3rd game will be a “buyout” game if we go 2-0 on them.

Host teams keep all of the gate for all 3 games. Guarantee payments are as follows:
2019: UNC --> $300k --> App
2022: App --> $200k --> UNC
2023: UNC --> $850k --> App
There is also a slight difference in visitor tickets, though the amount is 3,500 for all 3 games:
2019 and 2023: App receives 2,500 complimentary and 1,000 consignment
2022: UNC receives 500 complimentary and 3,000 consignment

Well worth taking a little less than the going rate for a guarantee game to secure this series.

If tailgating starts at midnight, the remnants that will be left in the aisles in the stadium during the game may be only for the strong at heart.

It feels expensive. The markup on the $150 for resale is going to price a lot of people out. It is such a special game and so many people will not be able to afford it.
Incidentally, I have six extra tickets to this game. Going to be interesting.

While the mark up is high its still a sellout. Only so many people can get into the stadium as it is. There won't be a empty seat. Prices on 3rd party sites will go down as it gets closer. It's not often P5's come up here and especially one (UNC) that gets this many people excited. APP athletics needed this revenue to move forward.

150 dollar tickets turn Kidd Brewer from a 30,000 seat stadium into a 90,000 seat stadium.
