Re: Sam Martin AP A-A
Yeah, I know what you mean. All those weak mid atlantic and northeast schools feast a schedule of ivy and patriots. I looked at the list and Harvard had a TE named to the first team so it ratifies your argument anyways. I also tend to agree, can't really judge a great player unless they play some de...

Georgetown is not in the Ivy league.

Re: Coaches with multiyear deals?
I posted this over on rivals but thought I should repeat my thoughts here. This really makes little to no sense to me, unless it was always going to be SS's job. Everyone knows that a new coach gets to pick his staff. So why would we put ourselves in the position of having to get a new coach when cr...

Gotta go with Horton, keep SS as OC.

Re: sounds like charlie cobbs not on the up and up
Sure makes sense why JM was seen as unfriendly toward CC after he clinched the SoCon title with a win over Furman. I really feel for Coach Moore, knowing that he was going out regardless of how he performed must have been a huge burden. I think he did a good job this year rebuilding our program. I r...

Re: 3rd and 1 late in the game?
I think that sack was perhaps the play of the game for them. Its late in the 4th and we only need 1 yard for a first down. If we continue the drive and score we go ahead with very little time left in the game. Instead we give up a sack and they turn around a drive for a field goal and pad their lead...

You hit the nail on the head. We need a defensive overhaul. It has been three years and he just isn't getting the job done.

I'm not seeing the thumbs up or down reputation buttons??? Got them back up. Let me know if you see them go down again or if you find any other improvements we can make. Yosef: My "unread posts" function still is hit or miss. Occasionally, when I click on it, it'll go to the last unread post, but m...

Re: Week 2 IMPROVEMENT
The biggesti improvement was special teams. We had good coverage on punts and the one kick that wasn't at touchback. I also liked that we cut down on the penalties, still need more work in this area but it was an improvement. We need to run Frazier in 3rd or 4th in short if we are going between the ...

Re: ESPN3 Watch a replay on demand
I am not sure of the exact duration that ESPN keeps the games but last year it was the entire season. If you look now, they still have college baseball games from early spring that you can watch.

Re: ASU / Montana WX Trends...
I, like many App fans probably, have thoughts at times of winning a $365,000,000 super jackpot and donating huge amounts to our favorite school and sport. Could make huge improvements to the stadium. Wouldn't mind having that monorail also, would help on game day. Glad to hear I am not the only one...

Re: Price and Lott to play?
WVA- I personally think the 2 in 4 rule is ridiculous because it sends a message that some games are more important than others and we don't want to punish kids for the really important games. Sends mixed messages. But that being said, my main issue here is the appearance of changing a punishment to...

Re: Price and Lott to play?
.Have you ever amended a punishment for your kids or subordinates due to unforeseen circumstances or changes of behavior providing evidence of growth due to a course of punishment? That is the situation that Coach Moore is in. The difference is that Coach Moore isn't reducing the punishment because...

Re: Price and Lott to play?
This sends a message that winning is more important than discipline. The decision to suspend for two games has been hazing, to say the least, since last spring when it was reported as a "rumor". The staff denied this rumor but low and behold the players were in fact suspended for the first game and...

I thought I had posted in this thread, but it was on the other attendance thread. Anyway, thanks for the write up its always nice to have on home weeks as it gets us ready for Saturday. This is by all rights our biggest out of conference regular season home game in memory, maybe ever. Two of the top...

Re: Montana Game Attendance
This is by all rights our biggest out of conference regular season home game in memory, maybe ever. Two of the top programs in the entire FCS will meet for the first time ever in the regular season. This game should have record crowd written all over it....but, with only a couple of days until the b...

Re: Tanyi gets a Turnover
I've moved on - don't care about Tanyi in the least anymore. He plays for a different team now. I don't understand this mindset. He is an alumni of App and is only able to play for another school because he graduated and enrolled in grad school at Colorado State. I hope he learned a valuable lesson...
