Bad analogy. He's our 2021 version of Joe Burchette.

Re: UL/App Game

I will be there, but it's easy for me since I live in New Roads, LA now. There is always a small but significant contingent of APP fans at the game, even the mid-week ones. Nice stadium and it is easy to get great seats on the visitor side. You can also fly nonstop from CLT into Baton Rouge (BTR), ...

We will curb stomp CCU in Boone.
That is the most concise preview of any conference division of NCAA football since the Earth cooled.

I think it is accurate.

Re: Didn't realize this about the acoustics in our stadium enhancement project

Yeah, I think the 40k was not meant to be a literal count. But, from the games I attended in KBS last year, there's appsolutely no question that the NEZ retains the sound like never before. I thought to myself at the time that the 5k in attendance (or however many Guv.Kooper actually allowed us to h...

Re: new oc

Ok so if i understand your position, you think it is a good idea to hire two OCs so that we can lose some games and then we will win the war in some elephantine fashion by firing everyone and bringing in some new faces. Did i state your position correctly? Thats nuts. My only serious point is that ...

Co-OG-OCs.... Moore-Gibbs. First G5 to win the Championship. I take you slept thru military history class. Especially when they covered when Hanibal crossed the Alps and whipped the Romans at the battle of Canae. Those Romans had co-generals. And the rest is history. No Romans survived. Romans won ...

I heard that someone tweeted that the guy that sits behind him at games at Kidd-Brewer is an unemployed coach/genius. Maybe that guy.

Re: College Football

I have been thinking. The playoff system stinks, and it is not only ESPN that is the problem. This year proves that a G-5 has absolutely zero chance of being ranked in the top 4 teams. Zero. The main reason for this is who sits on the committee. I understand the members of that committee are: ADs fr...

Everything about Liberty is JV.
Disagree. They appear to have more $$ than most state supported schools and are willing to spend it. Especially on their sports programs.

You might object to their politics and philosophy but thats on you.

Speaking of notable bowl streaks, the beach chickens are 0-1. They also boast a perfect 0-0 record in SBC Championship games. Glad they will always have 2020 to reflect back on as their season in the sun. OUCH, OUCH, OUCH. Man, that was just lowdown. They's gonna be some whinin' from Conway if they...

Somebody obviously dropped him on his head when he was born, foolish financial decision. I could not disagree more. A short term financial windfall possibility does not necessarily mean it was a bad decision to turn it down. It looks like to me that Napier might have been looking at the potential f...

Re: App plants plunger at GSU 50

NO! Anything toilet would associate APP with being crappy also. And we are not! If the team wants to use it when we beat them I’m ok with that, but not a symbol we play for. Hmmm. I do not believe any of us is taking this seriously like it would be a thing. Sir, I am taking this matter just as seri...

Re: App plants plunger at GSU 50

I have given this serious consideration. Plumbers Accoutrement Bowl just seems too highbrow somehow. And Plumbers Helper Bowl just doesnot seem right either. But can you imagine the endless possibilities if we could somehow convince Roto Rooter Company to sponsor the ... PLUNGER BOWL. It could be ou...
