No excuses from me. We have had a really good year. There have been glimmers of greatness in most games. BUT other than Auburn and maybe JMU we ain’t beat anyone. This game looked like most of the others, including the wins. We have been one “4 minute offensive drought” from losing many games . Eac...

8.5 spread.

Can I just get a nice relaxing hump day with a 20 pt lead by half and nice and easy 20+ point win?
Lol no.

We can take the stairs, but they have to be OSHA regulation height. Can’t go too high too fast.

this is gonna be a gritty game imo...having to travel all the way out to san marcos....3rd straight road game...i believe we win by 6 or so...get that 20th win then come home and play strong against toledo Again, only the Coastal games have been breathers. We really haven’t dominated any other conf...

Something that really stood out to me, since I was able to watch the game up close, is the attitude of this team. Every one of those guys is cool through the whole game. They didn't show any frustration when the refs weren't calling fouls. They didn't seem down when their shots weren't falling. They...

It's not surprising that both teams are shooting poorly with the how physical this game is. Refs are letting a lot go. I was there in person. In the first half, there were 3 instances (twice against App, once against GSU) where you could hear the sound of hand slapping arm, and the refs didn’t call...

Friend, if I could afford them, I'd have them. And I'd let even the most antagonistic poster on this website use them if I wasn't able to. Why wouldn't I, as an App State alumn and fan, not want another App State fan to enjoy a game and be as close to the action as possible? Being bent out of shape...

Haha fair point. However, if you put this in the season ticket holder's agreement when they purchase the ticket, it wouldn't matter. I mean, is it even really their "property"? Yes, they paid for it, but the chair belongs to the team/stadium. The ticket holder has just paid for the ability to sit i...

I can't believe they didn't offer those seats to some of our wild, enthusiastic students. Or at least, email season ticket holders and ask them to consider selling/giving the tickets away if they can't make it to the game. I've said before, and I'll say again, if I ever get to own a team I'll have ...

That was a weak rushing of the court. Well, they have a lot of event staff on the student section baseline and that slowed progress. It was a game we should have won so not really an upset and it was not a last second win that is just is full of unbridled emotions. And I am sure some of those stude...

I may be outdated, but I thought the 5 seconds to inbound rule is in play when they rolled the ball. (Not the 10 seconds to half court). Great question. Does the 5 second rule end when release of bball or when player catches it. I would think when player catches it..so it would technically be in pl...

Maybe I'm crazy, but wasn't someone here carping about how poor FT shooting doesn't matter?
Seems like good FT shooting made all the difference tonight. GO APP!
Wasn’t somebody on here carping about App being bad at free throws? 75% seems pretty good!

I broke it down into average FT's we take per game versus what we make. We are at about 12 for 20. If we raise our percentage to 75% we would be right around 100th in the country and that equates to 3 more points per game. I don't think any of us are saying it's not an important aspect of the game....

Curious, did your research include how many missed shots were rebounded by the shooting team and turned into two or three-point baskets, and/or missed second shots after made first shots resulted in two or three-point baskets for the shooting team. Sometimes missing a free throw results in more poi...

How often do we see poor FT shooting teams go deep in the NCAA tourney? We don’t, because March Madness introduces parity as it progresses. And FT’s become one of those difference makers. So FT’s don’t necessarily matter…until the competition tightens up and suddenly they make all the difference. L...

This is not a good study in my opinion. We may be dominate in the SBC and OOC ..so FTs not needed to make a difference. The FTs and ability to make them come into play tournament time (conference tournament and march Madness)... there will be close games and FTs make the difference in those games. ...
