Re: Let's beat a dead horse
If you don't see how the flag ship is intentionally holding down all institutions (and ours arguably more so than others with the highest % of budget cuts) as an issue and a reason to dislike them, there's not a whole lot to discuss. If you're willing to look past the evil so you can enjoy good bask...

Re: Let's beat a dead horse
So help me understand. We need a law & med school to be successful in football? Didn’t realize we were missing on recruits because they wanted to be doctors. Doesn’t seem to have help Carolina become a powerhouse in football though? What am I missing? No, that is where the hatred stems from. UNC ho...

Re: Let's beat a dead horse
I wonder if the same group with their panties in a wad about this would be just as emotional if Eric had a friendship with Coach K and was a dukie? Or walked around in red throwing up the Wolfpack hand gesture? A lot of us only root for App so yes it would be just as frustrating. But I will say nei...

Re: Miller hill
With due respect, I disagree. Miller Hill has a nostalgic aspect but the reality is that it is now overflow seating for every game. The view is offers if just bodies crammed together on a hill. There is a safety issue and we simply cannot continue charging premium prices to sit on wet grass. If we ...

Re: Let's beat a dead horse
My only concern with Eric is how he got his suite/benefits.. as he was gaining fame, there was mutual interest to work together. We worked with him in getting him a suite, away game tickets, etc at a discount because it was a mutual relationship. As soon as he didn't need our help to continue growin...

Re: Let's beat a dead horse
I don't care for the music.... I don't care for the fact he likes UNC more.... but that's his choice. I would be curious if he has contributed to App State any. Not that it is any of my business but I would be able to cut him some slack without feeling dirty about it. Lol Yes he has. He has a suite...

Re: Ahmani Marshall
My best guess is that the running back rotation the past two years led to multiple guys being dinged up at once. So if you roll with two guys at a time, with a bell cow, you preserve those further down the depth chart. If Nate makes it through 2023 healthy, great. But if we can at least get him unt...

Re: EZU discussion
If one wants to cure fumble-itis use the Tiki Barber "school of how not to fumble". He fumbled quite a bit early in NFL career. Took a lot of work in off-season..but he did it. Hate it for Kanye. That young man is a gifted running back no matter what plays they called for him. Back in the late 80's...

Re: How Was KBS Today?
I assume you mean the reviewable calls, because they show the replay of almost every play. Don't know if its a conference rule not to show those or we have just decided to refrain from those replays. AKA the plays you want to see replays of. Was really looking for a replay of the fumble return for ...

Re: Wyoming Discussion
Our sports nutritionist actually went to Laramie this spring to do a study for the elevation (along with other high elevation destinations in the US). I didn't know if that was public information as it was the first of it's kind, but Clark alluded to it in his presser. If the study was successful/ac...

Remember Wyoming is coached by the same guy that built the NDSU dynasty and is a really good friend of Coach Moore. There's a reason Wyoming is good. They are well coached, have the same philosophies as us (blue collar, pound the ball, wear the other team down), and have a proven winner at the top....

Re: Ahmani Marshall
I'd bet Marshall will be available for conference games.
Looked like it got in for at least one offensive snap against ECU but did not get the carry.

I'd rather have a team that consistently wins in a high school stadium than be a fan of a team that has to complain about losing to a team that plays in a high school stadium...

Re: Traffic handling leaving FB games
Or lack thereof I am creating this specific thread to bring attention to this topic separate from all other Gameday processes as all the other stuff has shown positive progress over recent years. WHY doesn’t local police and all App St police block ALL lanes (both directions) and make them exit sta...

Re: Recipe for a Title
Another great win. But in terms of going forward, can Nate carry the ball 300 times and gain 1,500 yards? Because that seems like the recipe. But so far that MAN has been an absolute STUD! Yes, he has. As the season goes, I would like to see someone to step up for more carries. Hope it is Kanye. He...

Re: Non qualifiers
App football has historically very rarely allowed NQs...
Capel abused it for basketball and made it a global policy in the entire athletic department. There no no NQs allowed at App. Period. Zero.

Re: Non qualifiers
Our athletic department does not take NQs after the debacle with Coach Capel and our basketball program. This couldn't be further from the truth.

Re: How Was KBS Today?
I had to hold back an ECU fan from understandably beating the crap out of some of our mouthy drunk asshole students. Good news is other students were also helping me hold him back. So, it was only select students that were the problem -- but, they were a big problem. Hopefully, the students not caus...
