Re: Announced attendance
It's not a fine thing. It's a public university knowingly breaking the law thing... Capacity restrictions are in place for a reason. You could argue for or against the reason, but it's still the law. Can you imagine the public relations hell the athletic department and University would get if they k...

Re: Best cellphone providers for service in the High Country?
I had a horrible experience with Google Fi. The reason was because they use T Mobile. The only reception I ever got was when I was in a city. I got nothing in rural areas even though their map showed I was supposed to get excellent coverage. I stopped it and went to spectrum phones. $30 a month for...

Re: EZU discussion
That's a pre snap read by JA. The play call is not to throw it far side. The play call on the pick looked like a traditional dig, hitch, post route combo. JA saw the far side had something he liked (my guess is the soft coverage and safety shade to boundary) so he went with it. Everybody on here LO...

Re: EZU discussion
We are fun to watch, but I swear, sometimes we score in spite of ourselves and poor playcalling. Clark will end up embroiled in a class-action suit with fans demanding reparations for their blood pressure and heart pills. They'll be handing out low-dose Bayer at the gates. Remember the Joey for sav...

Re: Best cellphone providers for service in the High Country?
I currently have Verizon and have good service but am getting tired of paying too much for that service. Pushing $180 for 2 lines. I live in Hickory area but obviously frequent Boone and surrounding areas often. Has anyone had a decent experience with carriers other than Verizon? How has this servi...

Re: EZU discussion
To me being at the game, Joey made three mistakes. The interception being one. Haven’t watched the replay so I will trust your judgement in that it was just a better play by the defender. It happens. The other two were he could have easily extended drives with his feet instead he threw it and got i...

Re: EZU discussion
The thing with JAs quick release is he's making a pre snap read and deciding where he's letting it launch before the ball is snapped. Most of the time, that works great. Problem is, if the defender makes the same read and JA doesn't notice the jump, there's a good chance at a pick. Obviously, that ...

Re: EZU discussion
Didn't read everything but here's my summary... We saw why Kanye hasn't played much. He can't hold on to the ball. Also, play calls changed when he came in. It was a lot less reads he had to make. There's no denying he can run the ball. It's the other stuff we don't see as fans that has buried him o...

Re: Harrington
If he comes back, it's for the love of App State more than anything. He was already told by several doctors he shouldn't play any more at all. He came back with the sole intent to help bring App State football back -- nothing more. If it were me, I would be done with football after what he's gone th...

Re: Recipe for a Title
Let’s get through September 4-1 and revisit this one. I had similar feelings last year after TAMU and then the season was like a whoopie cushion. I like what I’ve seen the past two games so far but am cautiously optimistic. App fans really don't know how injuries impacted this team in 2022, do they...

Always love the people that ask a question and they don't like the answer, then say "but but but but.... I'm taking my ball and going home now!" Why ask the question if the answer isn't going to change your mind on your opinion? You do know when people ask questions, people are going to answer, rig...

Re: Up Next...UNC
By design or not, I just don't get it. And we've done that "by design" in the past and it has always bitten us. If he's capable to kick it thru the end zone, then in my opinion do it....do it every time. Our special teams play, historically speaking, has not been good enough to play a strategy game...

Re: Recipe for a Title
Hats off to the players and staff. That was about as good as you could look in a loss. Man we are competitive with Carolina. After two games, my only real concern is runner Nate 25 times a game. Great objective post for those scoring at home. If we get a couple of backs healthy I think you’ll see h...

No way Harrington plays this week based on what I saw on the sidelines. No idea what the diagnosis is. But a player with B's toughness isn't in tears after immediately throwing his helmet unable to put any weight on it for no reason.
Unfortunately, I think his career is over.

Re: Up Next...UNC
Good news about the run defensive woes is it was mainly over pursuit. That's an easy fix. Our guys played their tails off. Coaches had a hell of a game plan. Players executed to perfection. Noel was a 1/4 step from breaking one so many times. This team has a lot to prove still, but they can be speci...

Re: Peoples Hurt in Practice Today
This popped on YouTube this morning. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FYvB3DFiGd8 Glad to have him back as with any alumni. The sad thing for me is I see the effort in this and how he likes the attention, which he will find will go away when he is no longer involved in football. If Cam was tougher a...
