Re: Mid-season halfway point grade?
B- overall We have won most of the games we SHOULD have won so far (UNCC, Lindenwood, Ga St, Coastal) Won the big non con home game against Oregon St... in exciting fashion (where was the defense from that game yesterday???) We've lost the games we were expected to lose: Boise & USM. 2 of our next 3...

UNCC Parking
Where is everyone parking on Friday?
I'm looking to get to Charlotte by 2/3:00 in the afternoon on Friday and am worried we will run into lots being not open due to normal M-F 9-5 parking hours.
Do any of our Charlotte people have recommendations / suggestions?

Re: 2025 Schedule
3 home games in November kinda blows, also no back to back weekends in Boone for games until the end of November also sucks. Positives are the bye week placements. Bye before Boise, bye before GaSo (Thurs), then because of GaSo being on a Thurs we have extra rest/prep for JMU. If we go 4-0 in games ...

Re: 2025 Schedule
Arkansas St and @ Southern Miss are our cross division matchups this year.
Arky has games Sept 13/20, Southern Miss is off the 13th. I wouldnt be surprised to see us @ Southern Miss on like a Thursday night the week of the 13th.

Re: Clawson steps down at WF
Wake will be a school that will struggle in football in this portal/NIL era but with Mitt Shah their hoops program should be better than what they have done so far under Forbes.
NIT every year shouldn't cut it

Re: Mike Norvell donates half his salary to NIL
Oklahoma St had Gundy restructure his for the same reason
I believe we will see more and more schools over time divide their budget up. Instead of allocating 10 million dollars for a head coach salary, that number will go down to 6 with the remaining 4 million going to NIL for roster construction

Re: Dowell's assistants
What a home run hire at DC, the most important assistant position in my opinion too
I’d be willing to bet some of us would have been excited if Zach Arnett was announced as our next HC, and we have him as a coordinator!

Re: High Point
HPU does have a strong team, basically returned most key guys from their 27 win team last year + made some quality portal additions. On paper they should easily win big south, could sneak a win in March

Re: High Point
Wonder how much the Coliseum charged for parking. They change the price based on the event. $5 to park Apparently HPU season ticket holders got tickets for free. This game was a home game for HPU but appears on schedule as a neutral. Pep band, cheer and dance teams there, home PA announcer, HPU gra...

Re: Season ticket prices went up
Speaking of season tickets I miss the days of having a physical ticket.
I’d be willing to pay an extra -$25-50 to get physical tickets to keep as a collectible and not use at the gate. Use the proceeds towards NIL

I'm pretty sure one of our two west opponents is Arkansas State. Don't know if home or away. Yeah I’m thinking we get Arky and Texas St (assuming they’re still in SBC) next year I’m hoping Arky at home, since they’ve never had a real Saturday game in boone during our time in the conference (2015 Th...

Re: What are the "ugly truths" about the football program?
Another ugly truth is we played extremely undisciplined football. We were highly penalized and a lot of those penalties came at the worst times. We developed a bad habit of turning the ball over a lot. We seemed to be unprepared very often, leading to poor starts and constant bad angles (which made...
