Iveyis not going to be the DC. The hope is that he accepts a glorified position coach title.
Any new insight on Dale Jone’s future here?

Woody has already supposedly accepted the gig at Army.
Additional reporting also came out saying that is not a done deal, yet. That being said I’m not holding my breath Woody comes back here.
Roof may be next in line there

Re: Keep Ivey and as much of this current staff as possible

We have a $1.35 million dollar budget for the all the assistant coaches per Drink’s new contract. It is going to be hard to keep them if any P5 schools come a calling. I believe we will see 1 or 2 more heading to Louisville. 1.35 and some private money that hopefully will make up the difference to ...

I can understand if Ivey Wants more responsibilities/money that we can’t offer; but as far as I know Jones has always wanted to stay here and has done a great job with his LBs. it would be a misktake to not give him the opportunity to stay if he wants to

It’s all about the Benjamin’s now. How many can we afford to keep compared to what they may be offered somewhere else?
The KNOW they're wanted in Louisville. Ball is in APP's court now!!

Louisville ‘s old DC was making 950,000,
WR coach making 600,000, lowest paid was 150-200,000.
Apps was 200k for Brian brown, 130’s for Ivey and Clark low 100s for holt, 100 for gasparto and 80k for cardwell and DJ Smith
and they're paying ledford 800k. That surprises me

Re: Bowl game thread

Drinks assistant budget was slightly higher than previously. If he acts as QB coach/Oc he could potentially consolidate a few positions into one and have extra money to keep those guys around. Also, what about Satts buyout money. Where does that go? Him not having to pay a premium for an OC was how...

Well let hope Drink meets Ivey and the rest of the staff in the locker room and tells them what can I do to keep you.

Re: Let’s talk Coordinators

Ivey for DC ... it makes the most since and maybe him can Ivey can talk about it over a drink in Nola. Ivey would definitely stay on if asked. This might be the best way to win the players over too. OC - well let him take his pick here. Clark could stay on but I bet he wants his own OC people. This...

Re: New Head Coach - Eliah Drinkwitz

We NEED to keep Ivey. He bleeds ASU and I really really don't wanna lose him. To me he is more important than Satterfield. Three things to note- 1. Why tell the team its not Ivey and above BEFORE the Bowl game without a possible commitment from Drink to keep Ivey. 2. Why try and change our defensiv...

Re: Board of trustees

If the "failed background check" is fake news it's really not cool to start that kind of rumor for anybody...much less the man that might become our head coach. I don't know anything about Gattis except that Penn State didn't want to lose him and Nick Saban wanted him. Based on that alone he seems ...
