We are in need of someone to take over the maintenance of the MMB. Yosef has done it for a long time, and we are grateful for all he has done, but life happens and he no longer has the time to devote to its upkeep. If anyone here is interested in helping to keep the board running, please let me know via DM.

I hate them as a rival but now that mullet head and sleaz coach are gone, I’m proud of how they are “reping” the conference.

10-19 record for the mid majors on day 1. Not bad at all. Hanging tough.
Pretty good! Some cold weather schools. Columbia only played about 15 home games and around 15-20 away to start the season.

Re: Help identifying vintage of an App State glass

Got a “felt” framed plaque when I got accepted to APP in March 1970. It has the Yosef on it. I would say 60’s as I never saw this Yosef on any other item since. Hold on to it. It’s value will explode when we win the CFP national championship.

Re: Boone Restaurants Closing

When I was a student there was a gas station on BR Rd that sold 3 hot dogs for 99 cents. Wouldn’t pass sanitation codes now but back in the early 80s it was a great deal for a poor college student. No telling what the hell was in those dogs and I really don’t want to know. Ha! Paraphrased: “I’m so ...

Re: Sun Belt Baseball Tournament Preview

Dom thanks for the updates throughout the season. It's been fun. Went to two home games this season as well. More games then I've been to in over 10 years. Wish the season ended on a better note but we've got some really good kids on this team. It's always a pleasure when we get to have them on the...

With that said, is it too soon to grade the athletic department? My overall grade would be a D+.

Re: 2025 Baseball Mega Thread

No doubt they are spent both physically and mentally . In addition, down the stretch we have played the best teams( sans South Al).we need better fielders and more speed and better pitching. Speed will allow us to be more aggressive on the base paths. Recruit better. However, we are probably getting...

Re: 2025 Baseball Mega Thread

We lack speed, our defense is barely adequate, it is very apparent the pitching is poor. We don’t get to balls hit down the lines ( other teams seem too) all that said, we are probably getting the best players we can. Wish they would win but looks like I’m going to have to live with .500 at best.

Re: Gillin said we're gonna play Western in football soon

On the Josh Graham Show today. Said Athletics is about to announce it. I know they are in NC but they don't have a big brand name, they don't travel well, and this should be a blowout win for us every time. We really don't need to play them but if we are going to we better only play them in Boone a...

I don’t see us celebrating a top six finish in any other sport. Ok maybe other than golf ….
I would love a sixth place finish in Soccer.
