With all of the TP departures we’re seeing, it will be more difficult to compare the 2025 and 2026 App squads.

So…I’ll roll a grenade in here: is money the only reason all these players are bailing? Or is it possible other issues are at play, as the parent comments on X would suggest?

Wearing both the HC and OC hats is possible, but doing it well is the exception rather than the rule. Besides, it’s definitely too much to ask of a guy who’s never been a HC before and Gillin should’ve known better.

Lesson learned…let’s move forward, shall we?

I thought we would have more fans in Birmingham than we did. It was probably my third favorite bowl behind Mobile and New Orleans.

Having the game on the 29th didn’t help. Expensive tickets, a 5-7 record and a depleted roster didn’t help either.

Other than losing Dozier, I’m looking forward to seeing fresh blood in the WR room. The lack of WR focus was endemic and we saw zero improvement as the season progressed.

Unless you are way more talented and bigger in all aspects of the game, I don't know how you design an offense without plays for a running quarterback and win.
