The family , rightfully, will decide when the time is right. No one else.
And it wouldn’t happen this season anyway.

Re: Prayers for Coach Clark

I'm not sure if they'll retiree his number, but I believe he should receive a waiver and get added to next year's HOF class. I think this would be a great way to honor him, if it even requires a waiver. But it would be certainly deserved, and the timing feels like it would be right. I'm not a big f...

Retire #61. Shawn Clark deserves the honor accorded to men like Coakley, Edwards, Hackett, Hand and Settle.

Was really hoping for some cooler temps out here. 84 for a high on Saturday?! I should have packed some more shorts.
Hit Walmart up, bro. Jorts are always a solid fashion choice…in Boise.

Re: Prayers for Coach Clark

It’s early and I’m out here the porch, thinking about Shawn. Up to now, I’ve tended to focus more on the way things ended last year, with sadness and regret. But Coach Clark and his teams provided some amazing accomplishments I’ll always cherish. Many will point to winning in College Station, hostin...

Re: Ok State Fires Gundy

Between his time as the QB, assistant coaching roles and Head Coach, it is safe to say the Mike Gundy has been around for the most successful football years in program history. What a tough way to go out, loser of your last 11 FBS games. The Cowboys were riding high with good old T Bone in their ba...

Re: Vol Football (Aguilar watch)

It's becoming more evident the RB usage over the last few years has been mismanaged. Castle ran today in a way I never saw him do so at App. Powerful and full of confidence. He ran like he was afraid to fumble while at App. And considering how easily certain RBs would be thrown in the doghouse for ...

UCF for the win!!
Man, this good. If “Little Billy” and the Gators get dragged down in Miami tonight, this will be an amazing bye week.

Re: Other Games Week 3

State Universities are doing the same thing. Georgia Southern has absorbed two smaller colleges (Armstrong and East Georgia State). I sometimes wonder if there might be some merging of UNC system schools. WCU and UNC-A are less than an hour apart. Who knows Fair point...has UNC-A's financial situat...

There were plenty of ignorant App fans that thought he was our problem last year
Obviously it's early days, but at this time one year ago, who would've believed we'd be hearing the words "Joey Aguilar" and "Heisman" even mentioned in the same sentence?

We live in interesting times, muchachos.

Re: Week 4 games

Tim Beck has the hottest seat in the Sun Belt. Got goose-egged 38-0 at home by ECU after beating FCS Charleston Southern 10-0 the week before after benching the starting QB and scoring a touchdown late. He might not make it to Boone. I have a number of family members who are NCSU alums...none of th...

Re: Other Games Week 3

The higher education landscape is changing as birthrates began to decline at pace starting in 2008 coupled with the cost of higher education. If the influx of foreign nationals also declines the percentages that pay "full tuition" will decline as well. We're likely to see more of this in the next d...

Re: Vol Football (Aguilar watch)

Saturday was the biggest game of Joey's life and the kid delivered...in spades.
It's rare to see a QB with that kind of ice water in his veins.

People across the country are surprised at how Joey's performed for the Vols.
I doubt App State fans are surprised.

It’s do or die for Billy down in Coral Gables this weekend.
And by die you mean get paid $22MM to not coach.
Yes, as in “die and go to Heaven” :D

If Swann/Kohl can’t go and Gillon gets the start over Wiles, that would (again) be a head scratcher.
