We are in need of someone to take over the maintenance of the MMB. Yosef has done it for a long time, and we are grateful for all he has done, but life happens and he no longer has the time to devote to its upkeep. If anyone here is interested in helping to keep the board running, please let me know via DM.

Re: Private Equity in College Athletics

Appalachian has a top school of business, I believe they will get the best deal that can be had. Besides, teams elevate conferences, conferences do not elevate schools. SMU did not get better because they joined the ACC, they were good already. The same is true of BYU. The COB might help. Maybe. Bu...

Re: 2025 Baseball Mega Thread

If I read stats correctly. Over 5 era in 2025. Under 4 era in 2024. Not sure if the changes in staff compliment. Were they a younger group? Did they have a few studs last year that went the way if nil. I know EasyU did not have a typical EasyU year. If they had not won conference tournament, I do n...

Just relaying the news. Heath Blackmon (ECU) is the new PC.
We could definitely do worse. I’m looking forward to seeing what he can do.

Pre season rankings generally mean nothing.
Like bowl projections.

Re: Preseason Projections

Last season, the pundits had App as a strong contender for the SBC crown. Then the wheels fell off.

But those same pundits see a rocky 2026 season ahead for DLO and the kids. So, maybe App gets some reverse juju this year and runs the table?

Re: NIL and future of NCAACF

Anyway you can go back to Gillen’s 12/19/24 App St. Aporoach to changes in college sports… he lays it out in detail. The $330k “payment” is actually a reduction in future payments made from the NCAA to Apps for 10 yrs. It is essentially less for our budget than they planned for and will have to be ...

Lennon and McCartney readily admit that they were inspired to create “Sgt. Peppers” after hearing “Pet Sounds”

If you have a chance, watch “The Wrecking Crew” documentary on Amazon. Great segment about Wilson and his songwriting and studio genius!

Few things would make me happier this year than for Evans to make the 53-man roster and score a TD against Vrabel and the Pats.

I halfway expected to see the game winner against Troy in 2022 make the list. But still happy with #5.
