Re: Portal time 25-26
Stroman’s lack of focus at times could at least be explained by things that I feel most now are aware of. Dozier had the physical attributes but I don’t know if he has the drive. Mbake seems to have both and I’m excited about him next year. He has adapted to the slot well and has already absorbed so...

Re: Portal time 25-26
I feel like some of this may get lost in translation. “If you come here I can turn you into Xavier Legette” is different than promising every receiver 1,200 yards but the player may not see it that way.

Watkins was coaching the WRs if that is what you are referencing.

Re: Birmingham Bowl
Interesting how the fall of famer just assumes the staff gave up on him? Sounds to me like he wanted out.

Re: Birmingham Bowl
Someone who played the position tells me that Wilson showed more than enough yesterday to prove that giving up on him was a huge mistake by the staff. He has the arm of a D3 QB. That’s not what we are going for. I trust the Hall of Famer. The hall of famer knows what happened from January - Decembe...

Hopefully their fanbase will be more patient with rebuilding an entire program.

Re: Birmingham Bowl
I’m not too worried about the turnovers. It would be tough to expect a flawless game from so many new players, plays and formations. It’s a one score game and that’s all we need it to be to win it in the end. I like what I’ve seen so far.

I’m a part of a large App faction that would like to see Wiles lead us to victory. I don’t know if Billy got permission from his daddy to go Seems like there’s a story here… That’s just 4863 stirring the pot I don’t do that, but Jamie sure likes to. https://twitter.com/jamiewiles10/status/200058422...

Related I guess... https://twitter.com/SCSportsNow/status/2003635131698020811?s=20 Wondering if we will go after their 4* backup, Air Noland. Seems like a good kid trying to find a starting role. I don’t believe DLo recruited him to South Carolina, but the kid played HS ball in Atlanta, so maybe th...

We never hear much from the folks who thought this was a good idea anymore do we. You complain more than a moody woman. If Loggains had declined the invite, you would have been one of the first to ridicule him. Take pride in your university and student athletes stepping up in support of the college...

Re: Birmingham Bowl
The players “jumping ship” should not have been recruited to Appalachian State in the first place. That is the crux of the issue we are facing. They aren’t jumping ship. They are being told to leave because they do not meet the standards that our program now has. And before 94, Seattle and Bcoach mi...

Re: Birmingham Bowl
Any person that is admitting to hating a coach for the rest of their life if they lose the next game is not a true fan. I’m sorry. Kick rocks if that is how you feel.

They were long shots, but man we could really use Rondo up front next week.

Re: Who’s going to Birmingham?
Players are home for Holiday and meeting in Birmingham. This is not an uncommon practice for schools. App will pay mileage/airfare to get players to bowl. It's not coming out of their pocket. App State is paying. Just paying each individual rather than chartering a flight & busses. Exactly. It’s re...

Tulane looks slow and overmatched, which is saying a lot considering they made most opponents look slow and overmatched.

Re: Portal time 25-26
I am retiring to Boone and cannot wait to see App. St. sports. It's the name on the front of the jersey for me.. not the name on the back .. It’s nice that you can see it that way. My problem is that the most of the kids wearing the jersey couldn’t care less about App State or any other of the mult...
