Re: JMU Game Day Thread
We got handled ....but the punt call on Tucker was horrendous and likely a game changer. That interference call completely changed the game. Everyone could see that the JMU player hit his own guy. Idk how the refs couldn’t. That gave them 35 yards or so to score a TD. Leadership should have stood u...

Re: How’s it feel…? Post-JMU
If not for 2 studs on defense in Trey Cobb and Hampton, we might lose by 4 scores yesterday. I am not a fan of the “our goals are still in front of us” mantra. We have looked bad in multiple aspects of the game in now 5 of our last 6 games. We are lucky to have 2 wins. Is Marshall, coastal and South...

Re: How’s it feel…? Post-JMU
Feels even worse now knowing some on the football team went to Ale House after the game. I am assuming to celebrate something not many teams have done at App? Blow a 28-3 lead. Complete coaching incompetence. We will never take the next step forward with good ole buddies filing the coaching staff ev...

Re: Defense Issues
I’m starting to think it’s a talent issue. Safeties and D Line have put tremendous pressure on linebackers and Corners to cover the holes

Re: JMU Game Day Thread
We’ve been outplayed in 5 of our last 6 games. We’ve only played 5 or 6 quarters of good football this year. Shawn shouldn’t be fired. But dale jones better be on the damn hot seat. This offensive staff better look in the mirror instead of patting themselves on the back. It seems like we cannot put ...

Other SBC Games - Week 4
Currently watching the Ga State vs Myrtle Beach game and man do I feel like everyone (including myself) is overlooking Coastal. That offense could put up a lot of points on us if we don't get some consistency in tackling and secondary. I am excited to watch Troy vs Marshall as a measuring stick. Als...

Re: Official Mickey the Mouth prediction thread
I felt uneasy before the UNC game. I was more confident in beating A&M. I overlooked Troy like many. I am now uneasily confident but not overlooking JMU.

Re: On To The Next One - JMU Discussion
I am hoping our defense can put a full game together. They have played pretty good for 7 quarters this year, we just need consistency. Our special teams put them behind the eight ball many times against Troy. Hopefully a more normal week and healthy players will give us a spark to convincingly beat ...

Re: Poll watch
Pretty interesting games this week for teams around us in the polls. Minn at MSU, UNC vs ND, USC at Oregon St., Oregon at Washington St., UF at Tenn, WF vs Clemson, Texas at TTU, A&M vs Arkansas. We will need a strong win to get ranked. Go A&M!...... Go UNC! :| A part of me just died, but we need t...

Re: Poll watch
Hard for me to say but we need UNC to look good and A&M as well. I think A&M will be fine. Their defense will carry them to plenty of wins. It seems like if UNC could ever put a full game together, they could be dangerous. Outside of Wake Forest and UNC, the ACC has some below average offenses this...

Re: Poll watch
I was concerned we'd lose some ground this week, but we basically stayed where we were. Pretty favorable treatment considering the performance Saturday. I thought so as well. We only lost 3 votes and that could have been from more people voting Washington or Kansas (wow never thought I'd say that)....

They said it would be made up with a new home & home series in addition to the road game I believe. So 2 at WF and 1 at App.GSUwasGump’sFallbackSchool wrote: ↑Fri Sep 16, 2022 1:57 pmWe owe them a road game for 2020 I’m pretty sure

Wake Forest Possibility?
I am not sure how to copy tweets on here, but Brett McMurphy has reported that Wake Forest and Liberty has canceled their Home-Home for 2025 and 2026. "Deacon Sports" has tweeted that App is a possibility for the 2025 season, which was scheduled for August 30, 2025. Seems like there is a possibility...

Unprecedented National Attention
I am a young buck but I pose the question - Is this the most national attention our program has received in history? We have been all over ESPN, social media, etc for the first 3 weeks of the season. We will have more big conference matchups down the road televised (with hopefully a top 25 game agai...
