There will always be different opinions, experiences and perspectives when you have a group of 100 guys each season. I’ll be interested in what he has to say as he experienced some of the highest and lowest times of the program during his tenure. Regardless of any negative stories, I will still choo...

Re: "App State" beers or ales????????????????????????????
The only one I am aware of is “Mountaineer Brew” from R&D Brewing in Raleigh. They sell them at pretty much all non-Walmart grocery stores. They may sell in Walmart as well, I just don’t ever go in one. I would save the money though. There are countless beers that taste better. I really wish we woul...

Re: Over/under Wins
8-4 with a conference championship title should be the bare minimum expectation (obviously if everyone remains healthy). Even at 8-4, there is a bit of disappointment. It would be a letdown if we can't improve from last year with coaching continuity and returning several key players.

Re: Over/under Wins
I don’t think we should judge the heart and toughness of the team in May. The team showed a lot of that down the stretch last year fwiw.

Re: Off Season Topic - Best/Worst Road Game Experiences
My first time going to CCU in 2022 was miserable. I did not realize there was an entrance on the visitor side. Crammed like sardines for 15 minutes walking up a ramp and through the student section was a nightmare. Adding in the long concession wait times, losing Trey Cobb for the season and the los...

Re: 2024 Season tickets sold out
The tickets themselves are very reasonably priced in my opinion. I have wondered for some time how much could they increase and we still sell out.

I agree with the ranking. I like how our game vs Liberty is coined as a “playoff elimination” game. September is gonna be filled with huge games.

Re: NC State series in danger?
If this comes to fruition, we should sue NC State. We have a signed contract and then they go and contract with another school to play on the same date, it is a classic breach and we should enforce our rights. I am really tired of watching all these chicken #$%$ schools finding ways to back out of ...

I don’t think the amount of scholarships really matter anymore. It is no longer a necessity to use them all in CBB.

Forgive my ignorance with NCAA baseball, but can we still make the tournament by winning the conference tournament?

Coffee connections in the south told me to not be surprised if DK leaves for LSU to join MM staff... Double pay and could spring board to another job in a year. Something to monitor. Wyoming head coach is leaving for Texas Tech assistant job. As always #TeamClark and Happy Mothers Day Weekend to ou...

Re: 2024 Schedule
ECU is a team that slightly worries me. They can't be worse than last year and Dowdy will not be an easy stadium to play in. I certainly believe we are the better team and have improved ourselves from the game last year but it will be tough I think.

Re: Is it time to rethink the sports we offer ?
Just a thought and a question. Not advocating that we drop any programs. If some programs were actually cut other than football, M & W basketball, volleyball, baseball, softball, and wrestling (and the minimum number of programs was met while still maintaining title 9 numbers) would anyone really n...

Re: Is it time to rethink the sports we offer ?
If we do have to go down this road, I think we have to focus on sports that generate attendance and thus revenue. Cutting out sports like men’s golf to re “boot” (pun intended) the men’s soccer program seems like a logical action. I think there is also a growing level of excitement with the club hoc...

Re: G5 Poll
There is too many G5 bottom feeders rooting for this even though they won't have a shot at this either. Top G5 programs like App State, Boise St, Fresno St., Memphis, etc.. will have a decision to make soon about which side of the fence they belong. Unfortunately, that decision will likely be made b...

I like this list. I will also add beat CCU. We are 1-2 in the last 3 games in Conway (same record with Ga So in Statesboro I might add). Beating CCU and Ga So on the road are huge goals for me.

Re: 2024 Roster Updates
Just to play devil's advocate a bit, we did have a QB like Joey out of high school who was the opening starter but he broke his finger and missed the year. We missed on QBs to follow Zac Thomas but I wouldn't call Burger a miss in the same sense. More of an unfortunate circumstance that worked out f...
