Re: 2023 Yosef Club Town Hall Meeting, March 22
When alcohol is involved anyone can become a problem, especially when told to leave a location. That would be asking for trouble. Not enough money would be made off of that after costs are taken out for it to be worth it for a coach to bring in their teams. Also, this isn't high school. Many of the...

Re: 2023 Yosef Club Town Hall Meeting, March 22
I get it. Trust me. But our Yosef Club staff is already working 75+ hours a week on game weeks and making in the $30,000s (at least the ones that would run this kind of event). It's not fair to add another task in to their plate when they're already spread so thin. Also, there is only one bar in th...

Re: 2023 Yosef Club Town Hall Meeting, March 22
Bingo. It lost tens of thousands every year. I get the adage of having to spend money to make money, but right now, there are more pressing needs to spend money on that will also make money (i.e. east side renovations). The original room was a complete give away, so sure it lost money. My suggestio...

Re: 2023 Yosef Club Town Hall Meeting, March 22
I want to know when or if Club members will get to use the NEZ. I have suggested they open up a room and sell food, drinks and exclusive Yosef Club apparel. I understand they stop the old Club room to save money. This could actually generate income. I doubt this happens. The ballroom is open two ho...

Re: Luke Combs and Eric Church Opinions of
There will be a lot of Church critics because of his ties the UNC. And that’s fair. But if you just let the music stand by itself he is an awesome songwriter and performer. His music crosses boundaries and while it is mostly country it really doesn’t fir completely in any category. In concert he alw...

Re: Perfect job for some board members!
It is probably a backfill from losing Henry Stone. Going to admit that I don’t get that granular about the program. I didn’t know we had someone in that position. We actually have four. Two for offense and two for defense. The opening is for an offensive QC and the other one is occupied by Jerry Mo...

Happy to see stuff like this. Looks like we are making a commitment to the program and Coach Clark. It is probably a backfill from losing Henry Stone. Went on a dive trip to Little Cayman one time. At that time the island had 3 hotels that only had generates for power. They shut down most of the lights at 10:00pm. Waited until then and swam out into the ocean about 100 yards and floated on my back, there are no words. https://www.youtube.com/watc...

Re: New world of QBs in the Portal
Just my two cents, we should mine the portal for QBs. I’m not talking about simply picking up a guy who got a P5 offer. It was mentioned above that we look for the guy with a chip on his shoulder. I would bet that a bunch of very good if not great QBs who go to P5s and don’t play have a pretty big c...

Re: Chase Brice
CB is a helluva quarterback and we were lucky to have him. If you look at our offense...we never really built our offense around Chase's strength...we seemed to only throw vertical and try to beat secondary's over the top instead of installing an intermitted passing game ..its like we ran half an o...

Chase reminds me of Joe Flacco. Limited mobility, big arm, took a “step down” to play.

Re: Steve Wilks named Panthers HC
Here's an interesting article from 2018 about walk-ons being predominantly white. While it is specifically about basketball, it probably carries over to football. Many of the walk-ons become coaches or management within athletic departments or professional teams. It suggests this may be a reason th...
