Re: Roster/Staff Updates
Sitting at home is nice until you sit at home, from my experience. THIS is sage wisdom. My experience was that you cant mow the grass but so many times a week!! I tend to agree with both statements but “sitting at home” with NFL GM money could be a touch different than what we’re thinking about.

Re: Billy Napier Fired
The interesting I saw on this is that he gets half of buyout right away and still gets it even if he lands another job. The moral we need to teach our kids from these firings is that they need to strive to become a fired head football coach in the SEC, ACC, or Big Ten. And that’s why G5 coaches nee...

Re: Coastal - 3:30pm - Discussion
As far as physicality goes we have improved but we simply aren’t there yet. Our O just flat out pushing that one TD in was a sample of what most of the game needs to look like. Our D is much more physical than last year but CCU just flat out had better athletes. And they did want it more. We are imp...

Re: Coastal - 3:30pm - Discussion
Our 3:30 start time has been explained before. A large portion of our fan base travels up the mountain from Greensboro and Charlotte. Young families need time to get the early morning kids sports games in and still be able to make it to Boone. Then they need the game over in time to get the kids hom...

I completely forgot about ODU.NattyBumppo'sRevenge wrote: ↑Sat Oct 11, 2025 2:29 pmFrom what I’ve seen, ODU is the best in the East. JMU defense is really good but their offense is below average.

Kohl can’t make every throw AJ can but his decision making under pressure appears to be stronger. He gives us the best chance to win each week based upon the skill sets. You’re right, Kohl did make some good decisions. Several times when we had guys in the flat or on screens that were completely co...

Just got back home… DEI about cost us this game… I’d sign a petition to get her fired… that was horrendous…. Did you immediately turn on Fox News and grab a blanket to hide under to calm yourself? Says the dude who immediately accused the board of being racist and sexist. She blew some pretty blata...

I haven’t read any of this but I think the question is can you maintain a culture in this environment? Culture absolutely matters.

Re: Boise Discussion - 7:30pm
This is a question for those who have either played football, coached football or simply know the game well: Do you believe that if App had a solid quarterback with a solid OL and DL, that issues at other positions could be worked through? Is my thinking over simplified by saying the OL, DL and qb ...

Re: Hello from Boise
Tough loss for you guys tonight. We know what that's like from losing badly to USF first game of this season. Losses don't define a program, its the response that people will remember and Im sure your team will respond well. We will probably get our butts handed to us next week at Notre Dame. I met...

Re: Boise Discussion - 7:30pm
Just going to say this, Loggins wasn’t handed much. If I thought we could fight through a couple of bad years to get to the other side that would be ok but I just can’t wrap my arms around how we rebuild in this environment. I really hope I’m wrong.
