Dig your heels in, practice and get better with your brothers. NFL doesn’t give those 2nd chances for borderline guys. Hopefully our guys got better in Decembe...

Re: G6 playoff gaining momentum
https://x.com/themscpodcast/status/2002588108345450688 Reinventing the FCS is a terrible idea. Energy of this thread is all wrong. The fight should be for regulation around nil and transfer portal, not a g5 playoff. It’s a huge slap in the face to all of us who were on the team/worked with the team...

Re: G6 playoff gaining momentum
How anyone can watch this and NOT want G6 playoffs is beyond me. “Nooo, we will be second class citizens!!” Buddy, we already are. This JMU team beat us by 50 and are gonna get laughed off the field at halftime. Couldn't agree more. I’m good with a G6 playoff but it doesn’t fix the transfer issue.

Re: G6 playoff gaining momentum
The 2 games today make it very, very, very clear that the best of the G6 can’t compete with the best of the P4. I don’t see how the G6 survives under the current circumstances.

Re: G6 playoff gaining momentum
I don’t have the answer. Perhaps it comes down to the lesser of negative impacts. One of my disappointments is the loss of even the concept of student first , athlete second. I know so many who used their athletic abilities to earn an education and change generations with it that otherwise would ha...

Re: Portal time 25-26
The BOT unlists their meeting videos on YouTube pretty quickly, which might be a state law violation. If you have the link, it's a 5-hour long video of several meetings. Thus, I made a video of just Dowell's speech to them. This was on Friday, Dec. 5, two days before the Birmingham Bowl invite. htt...

Re: It could be worse
I just thought it unbelievable and funny that a program like Michigan is being coach by a UNCC cast off named Biff. I also find it to be an example of just how crazy college sports have become. I really take no pleasure in the downfall of the coach or for that matter Michigan’s football program.

It could be worse
Michigan is going to have Biff Poggi as there head coach for their Bowl game. Absolute proof that things could be worse.

Re: How long will we have access?
Bowls will have to go away completely or be reinvented for there to be a breakaway and the G6 to get their own playoffs. Then you have to look at what makes sense financially for the networks because we all know that’s what drives this bus. Rick Neuheisel on the Dan Patrick Show had an interesting ...

Re: Portal time 25-26
At this point there should be a fan portal. I absolutely love this idea. Can we have a portal “season” for every game. Or maybe every quarter of every game. Just switch hats depending on who we like each quarter. These sappy post that required all the deep reflection and prayer make me want to vomit.

Re: Portal time 25-26
I had almost forgotten just how bad this portal crap is. I really don’t want to not like these young men but damn it’s hard when they just bail out. If I’m going to have any chance of enjoying college football at all, I’m simply going tune it completely out during the portal season. Am I correct tha...

Re: Portal time 25-26
So why are so many players jumping in the portal? Seems like a really high number. Are they being encouraged to go in that direction by the staff? Hard for me to believe that all these guys on a 5 and 7 team are going to get money thrown at them to go play elsewhere. Wonder what our policy is on ke...

Re: Hanging on for 26
I am as disappointed as anyone but I have fond a few things to hang onto for 26. No I didn’t see the players or the coaching we will need to compete for Sunbelt championship. But I’m hanging onto three things for 2026. I did see individual players improve over the season. Just naming a few, Mbake, ...

Re: FB at No. 24 JMU, 3:30 p.m., ESPN+
Practice should never be open to anyone outside the team....period. I don't care how much money you give. I wouldn’t go that far. There are people who need to know what’s going on at practice. There could also be opportunities for an observer to help coaches become better at their craft. Would you ...
