Re: Apps In The Pros Mega Thread
Here are the Sun Belt players who have gotten a shot in the NFL this cycle. We are the only school who does not have a player from the 2026 draft eligible class on this list. Signed Las Vegas WR Corey Rucker Arkansas State Tryout Tennessee CB Trenton Alan Yowe Arkansas State Tryout Kansas City DE No...

Re: Apps In The Pros Mega Thread
Former App WR Robinson gets tryout with Jets. Posting this here since he did not actually play anywhere else and did not get a chance due to injury before. https://www.newyorkjets.com/news/jets-host-31-tryout-players-2026-rookie-minicamp Still nobody from this class has gotten a chance. Since we kne...

Re: Luke Combs
The FCS comment should be reason enough to not play his songs in KBS going forward. I would like to get him donating to NIL and have 2-year contracts for sure. I don't like the FCS comment. It is short sided. We will be in the second tier when all is said and done if we stay where we are. The G6 is...

Re: Roster/Staff Updates
I have been that way for 3 years now and I am thinking that is how it probably should be for us now. Players aren't loyal to us and I am not going to be loyal to them. There is really no excuse for us not to go 6-6 or 7-5 every year in football. It takes good evaluation skills, good S&C program, go...

Re: G6 Playoff
Division I-AA sequel. Yup. We moved up just to be in the second tier. I heard some of our experienced fans say that we would have to move up to be in the second tier way back in the 90s and early 2000s. It made sense. This was something the stay FCS crowd never grasped, it was a frustrating discuss...

Re: G6 Playoff
They did learn from history. Those with power let too many plebeians get a small taste of power, and that must be stopped. Order must be regained. I think they should have set a minimum standard for attendance, budget, and a buy-in and enforced it long ago. A lot of schools are in FBS that don't be...

Re: G6 Playoff
The writing has been on the wall since after COVID so the sooner the better. Everyone keeps saying we have to focus on beating Sun Belt schools and stop worrying about schools like UNC, NC State, etc because we can't compete so why chase a title we can't win? Time to have a G6 playoff so there is a ...

Re: Roster/Staff Updates
Tradition is made by the fans. Culture is made by all involved. Those two aren't mutually exclusive to the players and coaches. If they were, then all those pro teams would have nothing. If we want tradition, then make it ourselves as fans, stop waiting on ADs to tell you what tradition is. If you ...

Re: Roster/Staff Updates
I think most logical people understand there are more things that affect program success than just the coach. I feel as if you should give someone the opportunity to correct their mistakes and if they don’t, then move on. From a thousand foot view, you want to see tangible improvement over the cour...

Re: Roster/Staff Updates
Bingo. I don't care what the era is, there is no excuse for us to be 6-6 or worse every year. We can win 8 or more most of the time. It is harder now but still possible.

Re: Roster/Staff Updates
It has definitely affected my interest and passion. It’s becoming more of a choice for my entertainment dollars. I have been that way for 3 years now and I am thinking that is how it probably should be for us now. Players aren't loyal to us and I am not going to be loyal to them. There is really no...

Re: Roster/Staff Updates
Makes no sense. We only.plsy 8 SBC games. We could lose every OOC and still be SBC Champs. Technically you are right but realistically do you think we are good enough to do so if we can't beat at least 2 of our OOC opponents? Also, I believe we would lose at least 1 SBC game and when you add in the...

Re: Roster/Staff Updates
We are in a new era of college football where old expectations need to be removed. Like it or not, we are a minor league division for the big boys. Rosters are going to be revolving doors. That comes with losses such as tradition, culture and inconsistency. 7-5 needs to be the standard mindset of f...

Re: Roster/Staff Updates
Double digit win is a tall order. No pun intended. I am not one of those complaining but just feel like those who have complained won't stop until we are Sun Belt East Champions and I do think that would take 10 wins. We are in a new era of college football where old expectations need to be removed...
