We are in need of someone to take over the maintenance of the MMB. Yosef has done it for a long time, and we are grateful for all he has done, but life happens and he no longer has the time to devote to its upkeep. If anyone here is interested in helping to keep the board running, please let me know via DM.

Geez, why do some of you have to find something, anything to moan or grump about?

Re: Roster/Staff Updates
Damn folks, any chance you can bail on the anti Joey stuff? Why keep hashing it over and over? Do you have to make the comment to show you were right and everyone else was wrong? The kid did a lot of good things for us. Not always good decisions, but how many QB’s do you see in a year do better? A f...

Re: Dowell Loggains
Saw info on Facebook page talking about nutrition program and meals for athletes. Hopefully Coach Loggains can help push for those improvements. I like that he has already had pro alumni speaking highly of him. Time to get those alumni back to Boone and accessible to the players. Has that been avail...

Gibson at Marshall
Any chance Coach Clark heads to Marshall as OL coach? His home state. Or do you think he takes the buyout and chills for awhile before making his next move? Wish him the best in whatever he does.

Re: Kanye Roberts?
Brian Haines deserves to be fired over his RB development alone. It does make me wonder if Ponce will be back. App’s offense was predicated on the run, and if you’re down 17-0 in the first quarter of every game, you kind of can’t run 35 times. Ponce and Joey were not the issue here. They were force...

Re: Realistic coaching options for 2025...
With the acknowledgment up front that I have zero firsthand knowledge of any of this, I am going to say that I do not believe any top-tier candidates declined to pursue our job because they think it wasn't fair to fire Clark. Why would you think that? I mean most schools would be very very happy wi...

Re: Candidates
See Eli Drinkiwitz I’d take six straight Eli’s instead on one Clark. Just a comment here. Not looking for a brawl. Not planting a flag……. I liked Drink a lot. Not much opportunity to see how he could build at our level, cause as we’ve all said numerous times, he inherited a Maserati. Our fan base w...

Some of you are so adept at how to recruit….. why have you not gone into coaching? I mean, you have all the answers! Translation: I can’t refute what you are saying with evidence from results so I will attack your credibility to have an opinion. I recruit and development various teams at my place o...

Got a feeling and hope it’s true. Build off the momentum of last week and importance of the game for season and rivalry.

Re: What’s Your Plan
I’ll be in Boone for football no matter what! Yes, I’m frustrated. But, I try to be a realist in viewing this situation. It’s not as simple as “fire Shawn Clark”. Of course there are better coaches out there, just as there are far worse. Someone posted on here last week that had envisioned us being ...

Re: GA St Discussion-Game Thread
While most on here have quite a bit of knowledge on college football, some much more than others and quite a few who “think” they do…… ponder this. After today’s games the standings in the Sun Belt are almost completely reversed what the pundits were calling for. And…. Georgia State beat Vandy Vandy...

There was a story in the Charlotte Observer recently that listed base salary of all coaching positions in the UNC system. NC State and NC each had 10 assistant coaches making more in base salary than Ponce & Sloan. 10. Each.

Re: Emotions vs. Analytics
Personally, Joey is the best example of what's wrong with this team. He was Joey Dimes last year. He had one of the best statistical years of any FBS QB. Now this year. While I don’t disagree with you, you have to factor in the fact we’ve fallen behind by a lot and quickly in most games. That means...

Re: The cancer on this program is
The cancer on the program is "The what have you done for me lately" mindset that so many have - It is totally transactional . As far as I can see or remember the only real negative I have heard issued is the W-L record. *** App State is one of only five Group of Five programs (and 14 FBS programs) ...

1. Transfer Portal/NIL. The transfer portal equates to a group of players coming in that don’t have the same commitment to the tradition and culture that was instilled. For players in the Jerry Moore era and even Satterfield, it hurt to lose to GASO. Nowadays it’s just a loss. Hard to measure, but i...
