Re: I want to know
All of this stuff just breaks my heart. No program is immune from growing pains and downturns. Clearly our staff has some soul searching in store. I’ve been there through the bad times and the good times and it appears we are cycling into another downturn. I’ll still be in my seat regardless. I’ll ...

Re: Vent Here
This team lacks grit, attitude and discipline. We can all have opinions about who/what causes that but it’s the bottom line. Our defense misses the first and second tackle on almost every play, they have zero eye discipline and play on their heels every down. Offensively, we are egregiously inconsis...

Re: How’s it feel…? Post-JMU
I refuse to hang this loss on the shoulders of our players. We were in rhythm, applying pressure and playing out of our minds to start. Something clearly shifted in the playcalling and gameplan mid way through the second quarter. As baffling and befuddling as it is, I truly think this coaching staff...

Re: JMU Game Day Thread
What really hurts about this loss is that every time we almost turn a corner we stub our toes. The top 10 losses on OT, 2019 ga southern, today. A&M looks good and they might beat Arkansas, most of teams 20-25 lost, we could be ranked week 4 and be in the drivers seat for the NY6. But instead we’re...

Re: Yosef Parking - Looks like inflation has hit
So much whining in this thread. The tickets remain a bargain compared to most schools and you’re seeing a high end product. Nobody wants to pay “more” for anything but the bottom line is: app is not equipped to continue to compete at the level it has without more financial support across the board.

Re: Ponce going to Miami
I think we all know that our program is just a stepping stone now. This is why it is so important for admins, alumni, and students to keep the culture alive and booming. It lessens the blow of coaches coming and going. Yes but it’s a better time to remind people to donate to Yosef club. Even if it’...

Re: Time to give Shawn Clark contract extension
This fan base has really shown its ass in the last 24 hours. Remarkable to see people arguing with Ethan Joyce on Twitter about being a shill. Maybe we needed a solid dose of humility, might get even more next season. This is true. Some of the crap that's been posted on social media the past 24 hou...

Re: AAC just lost their big 3
Per USA Today this morning, this appears to be a done deal. So that leaves us with just one question. AAC or SBC? In reality, AAC opponents would put more butts in seats and whether or not the AAC is actually a better conference is debatable BUT to the people who make the rankings, TV structures et...

Re: AAC just lost their big 3
It’ll be interesting to see if there’s any interest from the AAC. One big factor against us could be the lack of support App State receives monetarily. There aren’t many willing to put their money where their mouth is. We mostly have a free loading fan base (only 2,700 Yosef club donors).

Thank You Coach Clark
9 wins and a ring, all while the team missed nearly a month of practice in the middle of the season due to COVID. Not to mention him being asked to take the reins and establish everything from scratch in a year where being able to have full training camps and consistent practice sessions was hard. C...

Re: Players and Coaches should call out the fans.
Tired of these arguments that are centered around fans not being real fans because we have high expectations and demand more. We’re spoiled, yes. At some point we have to get over this hump. We’ve been stuck on this hump for a couple of years and it’s tiring. It’s one thing to go out and get raked b...

We 100% choked. We rarely handle expectations well when they're accompanied by national attention.

The only thing we should be watching out for is which CUSA team looks like they’re headed to Mobile with us. Sorry, still not over the loss. Give me a few more days to sulk.

Re: Fire Ted Roof
Ted was a horrible hire from day one. Today wouldn't have been as bad if our former defense was mediocre or below average. I cringed today, watching a former top 15 defense in college football being reduced to a bottom 15 defense. It makes zero sense that our scheme and strategy has changed. Change ...

Re: STOP the "Neers NOW!!!!!!!!!!!!
Rek, I get what you’re saying and my point isn’t to throw out old traditions, but establishing that new generations of students aren’t allowed to generate their own traditions, is just asinine.
