We are in need of someone to take over the maintenance of the MMB. Yosef has done it for a long time, and we are grateful for all he has done, but life happens and he no longer has the time to devote to its upkeep. If anyone here is interested in helping to keep the board running, please let me know via DM.

Re: Preseason Projections
Our transition resume is better than theirs. Media recency bias is showing!

Re: Preseason Projections
Last season, the pundits had App as a strong contender for the SBC crown. Then the wheels fell off. But those same pundits see a rocky 2026 season ahead for DLO and the kids. So, maybe App gets some reverse juju this year and runs the table? Nah, they just look at last year standing and make a coup...

Re: Preseason Projections
Well according to you and others the problem was Clark and Sloan. Both are gone now so the problem is fixed now. Right? It's very complicated of course, if only you knew all the variables that go into this you'd have a better appreciation of the situation. I’m quite certain that I know just as much...

Revenue sharing is a sure way to lose money. If this were a company it would incentivize poor behavior.

Re: Neal Brown - WVU
I am no longer posting on this board (comments) since I was called a douche and had to contact the moderator 3 times to take it down - he blamed me for not following the proper rules and said I was being snarky - I don't need this shit at 77 years old - I do have interest in the thoughts of several...

Re: Preseason Projections
The lease will be shorter this round, but expectations are justifiably lower this season than probably any season since year two or three of FBS.
Some will be consistent in their criticism, some will be faster to judge, some slower. All three will be evident.

Re: Private Equity in College Athletics
When a person with money meets a person with experience, the one with experience ends up with the money and the one with money leaves with experience.
You may say they are bringing the money to the table, but they'll leave with more than they bring while limiting their downside risk.
Terrible idea.

Guess we'll find out if the "worst" NFL OC is better than most G5 DCs.

Re: Preseason Projections
Goals:
- improve as the season progresses
- develop game plans which include not spotting the opponent 7 or 14 points every game
- adapt to play to our strengths versus stubborn play calling
We do that wins will come in back 2/3rds of the season.

We spend every dollar raised and/or allocated to athletics.
There is no profit to share.

Re: Preseason Projections
I have no idea what UNCC has, they may not either, but 1-3 in the first four is just as likely as any outcome at this stage.

Re: NIL and future of NCAACF
Let me sum up where we are. G5 programs would be fine if we went back to the paper bags of cash that magically show up in lockers of power programs system than what we have today.

Re: NIL and future of NCAACF
I hope a league without NIL is started with a restriction of leaving schools without sitting out 1 year. If you play pro you lose all eligibility. . A true student athlete league. I hope we join it. THIS IS A JOKE WHAT MONEY HAS DONE TO COLLEGE ATHLETICS. Nothing was holding back investors creating...

Re: NIL and future of NCAACF
I said three years ago that NIL would benefit the few at the expense of scholarships across the NCAA.
The power schools have come for us and no one will stop them. Glad I got to experience the first seven years of our FBS experience.
