Re: 2026 Baseball Mega Thread
Does anyone know how much (if any) revenue sharing we get from Troy being in the CWS?

Re: Roster/Staff Updates
It would take years to build an endowment. I assume by directing the current revenue stream toward it. Most of the schools with sizable endowments have been around 50+ years longer than APP. For example UNC-CH is about 100 years older than APP. Given their alumni contributions and the benefits of c...

Re: Roster/Staff Updates
if App is graduating people with those kinds of math skills, then App has far greater problems than the football team.

Re: Roster/Staff Updates
I think Justin Harper is a “good ole Catawba County boy” that played at Bandys. As a Bear I am not sure I approve of this hire. He played at Bandys around 1997-2000. They represented the SD-7 well going all the way to the state finals. I can’t remember… did BH field a football team back then?

I wonder how many would show up if some of you guys put together a “Antlers reunion/memorial” gathering.

Re: FCS national championship
Very exciting game. Stadium was full of noisy excited fans (35,000 or so). Better than most of the bowl games and undecided up until the end. Great plays by both teams.

Re: Roster/Staff Updates
I think it goes back to the fundamental problem that is the transfer portal. There is no more loyalty or commitment in college football. Everyone knows if things go bad, they can always transfer somewhere else next year. How many of our players (or coaches) even care about the rivalry with GSU? It'...

A friend that was sitting with his family behind the bench on the east side told me that the CCU players and coaches were not very nice.

Re: 2025 Baseball Mega Thread
I’m in Myrtle Beach Beach for a “travel ball” baseball tournament. Until now, I never realized what an advantage CCU has over every other college that fields a baseball team. The Myrtle Beach sports complex draws hundreds (if not thousands) of the best future college players every year. Spring, summ...

Re: 2025 Baseball Mega Thread
Since attracting good athletes at App is now about “pay for play” rather than academics and getting a great education… we could reduce the faculty.

Re: 2025 Baseball Mega Thread
I wonder how much money it would take each year to “buy” a top twenty ranked team.
