Re: Lane Kiffin Sweepstakes
Mullen was mentioned above, and I think Kiffin could learn a lot from Dan. Dan Mullen is arguably the best coach Mississippi State ever had. Same could be said about Kiffin and Ole Miss. For both of them, staying in Mississippi and winning 8-10 games consistently with some playoff appearances over t...

Re: James Franklin to VT
A coup for Virginia Tech. Expectations are lower than Penn State and if he's still motivated, Franklin could have the Hokies humming in no time. Being 2.5 hours from App State, I'm sure Franklin will be looking at the Dowell's commit lists (along with JMU, UVA, Liberty, ODU, etc) and be aggressive....

Re: The Good, The Bad and the Ugly- JMU
The good- rock bottom is a solid foundation. This season may be a wash, but hope springs eternal. There's always next year. I'm just confused about this season. There has to be something going on that we can't see. The regression of play from the offense is just weird. It's not a small regression e...

Bottom line is nobody knows NIL numbers. We are facing the same programs we faced before NIL and the portal. If they have so much more money now then they had that money 5 years ago too. I’m of the mindset that everyone in the belt is dealing with NIL and the portal. Find a way to compete or go bac...

Re: FB at No. 24 JMU, 3:30 p.m., ESPN+
People need to calm down with firing the coaching staff after one season. It's reactionary and emotional. This season has been one to forget for sure, but how many times did we have to listen to tirades and defenses of this hiring (or about getting rid of Coach Clark) because of how bad the roster ...

We can just copy-and-paste this comment to basically anything, not just App State football.Bigdaddyg1 wrote: ↑Thu Nov 13, 2025 7:20 amAnd the “good ole days” used to reference many years prior to the present. Now it’s just pre Covid. Seems like it’s sucked ever since for a handful of reasons.

I was only able to watch about 5 minutes of this game, but App looked like a much different and better team than the one that played against Central Michigan. I hope we look back at that game as a season-opening blip.

Re: Stink discussion
From an anonymous parent in the TIGMA Facebook group. Take it how you will, but it's out there. I’m my son’s agent. We can’t afford to pay anyone to do anything. No NIL. No scholarship. Just my hard earned money and loan payments so he can be on the roster year after year. Recruited by Shawn Clark ...

Re: Stink discussion
Agreed, we came out in the first half like deers with the headlights in our eyes. The team was not prepared and embarrassed itself, once again, on national TV. I realize this is the first year under a new staff, but last night’s performance was totally unacceptable! It’s a good question: does blame...

Re: Stink discussion
We were not prepared. Is that on the staff or the players? It was an embarrassing performance. That embarrassment was felt all the way to the top. In the past it was always said it was on the coaches. Interested in hearing what it is now. 9 games in on a total rebuild. Some gave Satt grace in year o...
