Re: Stink discussion
I am treating this game like a celebration of life for App. I prefer to remember App football at its finest.

Re: ODU Discussion
I’ve always thought that one of the most appealing things about the phrase is how is doesn’t meet grammatical rules. Can we refer to it in its purest form? “If you got two quarterbacks, you ain’t got one”.

Re: ODU Discussion
Ugh, 12pm kick. The good news, ESPNU covering so maybe a decent camera angle and more cameras. Also, hopefully better (Neutral) announcers. We shall see. I still will probably listen to our radio guys synced up with the tv. Bad news- we play on national TV. Always feel like we lay an egg on TV. (Re...

When selecting a new starting QB will our backup always turn out to be better than the starter?

Re: Does culture matter anymore?
Our culture: Self-reliance and resourcefulness Appreciation for each other and the area Supporting each other/team over self Grounded in traditional family and often religious values Pretty much the opposite of the direction of CFB today. Would you be in favor of stripping the names off the jerseys...

Re: Boise Discussion - 7:30pm
I ask this with all seriousness. It’s mentioned over and over that we can only compete with a big influx of money. How exactly is that going to work at App? How much money is needed? What is the ROE that is acceptable? If we go 6-6 on average is that worth it? Will money buy desire? Will money prev...

There’s no benefit to putting anything out there. I know I wouldn’t.

Re: Looking Ahead- Lindenwood
You don’t want to pull the starters too early but you don’t want to leave them too long either to risk an unnecessary injury. That will be the balance and coaching test this week if the team plays up to its abilities. It is a good game to have before traveling for a tough conference matchup. You al...

Re: Game Notes vs Charlotte and game discussion
Not loving what I’m seeing from Stroman I think DL is going to bring the best out in him. As a pure receiver running actual routes, this was Stroman’s best game as an App. He was never asked to do as much as he did last night. Even though he gave up on a go ball, overall I’d say it was good. I agre...

Re: Game Notes vs Charlotte and game discussion
Betting lines have moved 2-3 points to Charlotte in the last day or so. from -6.5 to -7 App to -4.5 to -5.5 App. What do they know that the rest of us don't? Any other suspected injuries that haven't been reported? QB news? Movement at this stage is usually driven by the public. And it’s always goo...

Re: Sun Belt presidents to vote Monday on Louisiana Tech
If it’s about the fan experience we should add teams that are destinations not Ruston. What is it about the SB that is unappealing to the likes of Memphis, UAB, Tulane, etc?....Obviously the $$ is better with P4 conferences but the likelihood they get an offer to join is slim...Why stay with CUSA/A...
