Re: Playoff Hockey
What a series!! Great hockey. Love the end of game festivities on the ice better than any finish to any sport. Genuine. I’m a Canes fan but love the Red Wings, too. RW’s have been bad since Scotty retired. Biggie? Harmony? Union Grove? Love Valley? Amity Hill? Cooleemee? Cleveland? Where from?

Re: Playoff Hockey
Now that was a game of frantic play. Hate the Canes went down but it’s only one.

Tickets are $200 plus. Guess I’ll watch on the tube and save 5 hour one way travel. Would like to be there. Save up for the finals?

Re: Playoff Hockey
Go Canes! The Canadiens are tough but the Canes have had plenty of rest. I hope they haven’t got rusty.

Re: Charlotte Hornets fans
I went to a Panthers game at Clemson and watched with amusement every time the Colts punting team took the field and had to delay the snap every time for Jim Harbaugh to take his slow walk off the field.

UTEGV is a tough spot to coach basketball. They play baseball and soccer in that area and that’s about it.

Re: Offseason thread: recruiting, transfer portal schedule, general discussion
Jennings and Muggsy and Spud may not have made it in today’s world. They don’t fit the metric they all use now in all sports. We have a kicker on our local high school team that is 5’9” 165 lbs. that has made FGs from over 50 yds. and never missed close in except for one that was blocked after the h...

Mjohn, it all is out of whack, whether market driven or not. Your daughter is underpaid in comparison to those in the athletic world, or music world and other worlds, or they are way overpaid. If your daughter makes a mistake, someone dies or is debilitated or continues to suffer from their conditio...

I can’t pitch. Had my fastball timed at the YMCA in town two years ago at 59 mph, about the speed of a Livan Hernandez eephus pitch. I was 68 years old at the time.

PC had to change pitchers, thankfully. From the 2nd through the 7th, we couldn’t get anything off the other guy. Struck out a lot.
