Re: Birmingham Bowl
It was always the right decision to play this game. Everyone involved should be commended for it. The players that decided to play, mostly. They played hard and put in the effort. I'm proud of them. This game showed once more that the offensive play caller is a hinderance to this program. Dowell ne...

Re: Birmingham Bowl
Honestly, a better showing than I expected. Considering we were an entirely one-dimensional team with our QB situation, there is not a coach in the country who could have done any more with what we had. The reason it was even remotely a game is because our defense came to play and Wilson is a flashy...

At least it was quick but unfortunate as that killed the momentum.

I'll still enjoy watching, but this is an exhibition game at best given the state of our roster.

Re: G6 playoff gaining momentum
I am not in agreement with this play. JMU only got in due the fact that a 7-5 Dook team upset Va. Given JMUs weak OOC schedule, they were not going to get in otherwise. I say we schedule the P4 teams, win and write our own destiny. I think herein lies my biggest issue, regardless of if you're serio...

Re: G6 playoff gaining momentum
Honestly, I'm ok with this. If JMU and/or Tulane holds their own I'll change my tune, but my guess is they get rocked by 35+ points. I don't want want to play all year to get there and then get absolutely embarrassed. The top 15 or so aren't our peers, regardless of the fact we're all FBS.

I do wonder if he reads the board. I would absolutely love (not sarcasm) if I had a place where people openly shared their opinions about my workplace. Maybe he just sees us all as overly whiney.

Re: Gillin
3 games were lost by a field goal or less...1 by a TD and 2 pt conversion. - Had we not had all the injuries on the OL and RB we would have won at least 1 of thoses. - Injuries are not Loggians fault. - The offsides at taking away the TD yesterday isn't Loggains fault Go ahead and rip this appart.....

Re: No more upsets
College athletics will be so markedly changed in 10 years that I’m not sure App football will even exist. That’s a bit hyperbolic, but once it truly becomes a minor league caste system, I’m not sure we can survive, at least not at the top level. Not to get too off topic but I think it fits in this ...

Re: If we win...
As of now, unless Tulane loses their conference championship, won't it be them? They're the only G6 ranked in the poll.
Also, to the OP, it seems like a crapshoot of which of those bowls listed in the post below you we actually go to. So many middle of the road teams.

Re: CJ Huntley
Just checked the roster for the Suns G League team the Valley Suns and the roster for the Phoenix Suns. CJ does not appear on either roster. Does anyone have any info on him? https://www.brightsideofthesun.com/suns-news/92937/jamaree-bouyea-two-way-contract-signing-nba-g-league-guard-update-cj-hunt...

Re: FB at No. 24 JMU, 3:30 p.m., ESPN+
This can go one of two ways and I'm afraid we're heading down the bumpier road at this point, but continue to hold out hope. For comparison on recent rival team coaching transitions: Coastal Carolina 2022: 9-4 [last season with HC Jamey Chadwell] 2023: 8-5 [first season with HC Tim Beck] (strength ...

Re: FB at No. 24 JMU, 3:30 p.m., ESPN+
There is zero reason with the portal that we should be in that situation. We should never lose to a peer school by 50 points. I don't know how anybody could watch that game and say we need to give him another year. He: 1) Kept an obviously injured QB in the game who was completing 5% of his passes a...

Re: FB at No. 24 JMU, 3:30 p.m., ESPN+
We are averaging less than 10 yards of offense a quarter at this point and we keep trotting an injured QB out there. To me, that's gross negligence on our coaching staff.

39 yards, 3 for 17. Let's see what we get on this possession.
