We are in need of someone to take over the maintenance of the MMB. Yosef has done it for a long time, and we are grateful for all he has done, but life happens and he no longer has the time to devote to its upkeep. If anyone here is interested in helping to keep the board running, please let me know via DM.

Re: Karl Benson Q&A
Seems simple to me. Add either UAB or as a back up UNCG. Either way, the Sunbelt is strengtened by adding an attractive basketball school and market in the footprint. Boot Idaho and NMSU, they simply don't fit, and go to a 9 team football conference with a round robin format, true football conferen...

Re: Moore fired for this!
It's hard to read this site right now. I am ashamed and disgusted at the pathetic attitude coming from my fellow App "fans". Some of you sound like a bunch of spoiled, whiny idiots. IT'S ONE GAME!! It's the first game of the season. Our QB is coming off major surgery. Our best player was suspended ...

Re: The sad decline of SoCon football
The most amazing thing about that list is that the best showing came from Western Carolina and its not close. Keeping it within 21 of an 8 win FBS team is actually something for them to be proud of, I wouldn't even include that on the list of embarrassments. 2 years ago they lose that game 70-0

Re: Armanti impressive at Fan Fest
ya know, either cut him or play him, we saw this last year when he had a good camp, coaches talking good things about him, how he was going to be a factor in the offense etc, then the season started, he is on the bench, maybe plays 5 or 6 plays a game. If they are not fully committed to playing him...

Re: Armanti impressive at Fan Fest
“I don't want to go around saying people are safe, but Armanti has earned the right to be a Panther this year.” Wow that is really big statement from Rivera. Preseason has not even started and he basically says Armanti is going to be a Panther. That is not a comment you make about a 5th or 6th rece...

Re: 49ers Stadium Naming
It's curious to me how so many predict low attendance for the 49'ers. What do they have to go on? Didn't they outdraw ASU in the Spring game? They have room to expand that we don't have in a practical manner. They have too many students/alum to have too low of attendance. Also many of them don't go...

The plight of the oppressed Christian in this country brings a tear to my eye. One day they will rise up and overcome. I mean for Gods sake, Bill Maher makes fun of them more then Muslims!!! The horror!StumpyCulbreath wrote:Cue the Christian persecution complex and the totally bulls-- news sources.

Re: Liberty To Construct 19 New Athletic Fields on River Isl
God, please save us from the Christians. I wonder if we'd be having these conversations if Liberty was an Islamic university? I always laugh when people make idiotic comments like this. Those Muslims have it so great in this country. Everybody loves them and I'm sure the Sun Belt would go out of th...

Re: Jerry Moore at UNCC football practice Today
I wouldn't call their recruiting class terrible. I don't know how 247sports.com compares to Rivals, but it looks pretty respectable. They had six 3-star guys, and their class was ranked 108th out of 127 FBS programs. Of course that's not great, but its pretty good for a team that has never played a...

Re: Liberty next SBC addition?
Though I disliked the school before today's news this is insane. Why in the world would I come to a game with a soon to be 3 year old son and have to be worried that a pissed off drunk Liberty student might wanna take out frustration of our drubbing of them on me. I myself am not going to conceal c...

Re: NMSU-Idaho to SBC
Terrible, just terrible. Idaho has no business in this conference or FBS football. I could be talked into New Mexico State for all sports because of the basketball boost, they are a 50 year joke in football though.
Still psyched to join the Sun Belt but this puts a very small damper in my mood.

Re: Sun Belt to Discuss Our Membership March 9th
It seems like a lot of people on here are taking the message board rumors on the Sun Belt board as absolute fact. I have not seen so much as one tweet from a semi-reputable source to back up any of this stuff about in fighting or disputes between the schools. What is more likely: 1. That one or two ...

To folks that are underwhelmed by the AppStateNation story: you are officially in denial. While its not time to celebrate our official move to FBS, we can at least start to make a shopping list for food and decorations. If you guys donated $10 bucks to the athletic department every time you posted ...

Re: Mountaineers open as an underdog
Looks like the line has been bet down to a pk now. I don't know how much stock I put into a line like that. Most of the major sites I know don't touch the FCS games. With all the work/research that goes into this, it doesn't seem like it would be worth it for the volume of bets coming in. Why is thi...
