When I was at App the football and basketball teams (and actually soccer when Usiyan was there) were part of my college experience that I loved and had no problem justifying the fees to support.

Say what you want about Drinkwitz, but he's a smart coach and he; hired DJ, retained him for all 5 years, and promoted him. That speaks volumes about DJ's ability in my opinion.

Keep in mind these are employee hires by the university. So, HR processes have to be completed once the person is identified, interviewed, vetted, offered, negotiated, they put their notice in at current school, etc. They'd be stupid to announce someone before the deal is papered and inked.
