We're just not a baseball destination for talented players (especially pitchers.) They want warmer weather and I really don't blame them.

Evidently the new pitching lab hasn't paid any dividends yet.

We had a decent starting frontcourt during the Cremins era. Calvin Bowser and Mel Hubbard come to mind. He didn't have the depth we have now for sure. And Tony Searcy. May have led the nation in rebounding maybe ‘78. Bowser was gone by then but Mel , the SoCon high jump champion was around. Searcy ...

Yes we are lucky to have him. He doesn't get enough credit for the job he's done. The only negative I see is he went to uncheat.
