Re: FB at No. 24 JMU, 3:30 p.m., ESPN+

Last time, the difference between us and the rest of the conference and most of the G6 is our debt. We have the revenue to be at or very close to the Sun Belt, but our debt service payments are much larger. Revenue is just half the story.

Re: FB at No. 24 JMU, 3:30 p.m., ESPN+

That is the part that stings the most. These other programs don’t have some magical access to an abundance of resources we don’t have. Or are we not spending our donations and ticket revenues on areas that are producing results. The current regime has not been good steward of our resources. We have...

Re: FB at No. 24 JMU, 3:30 p.m., ESPN+

I said this a month or so ago and I'll say it again. This team lacks talent. This is particularly true on the offensive line. I don't know enough about football to know how you can effectively play call around an o-line that can't pass or run block. This is just a bad Appalachian football team. And...

Re: FB at No. 24 JMU, 3:30 p.m., ESPN+

I totally understand how frustrating this season is. It is tough to watch a problem that we've made emotional and financial investments in look this bad. But to talk about firing a coach after year one makes us look as irrational as Auburn, and not even they pull the trigger this fast. Also, I didn...

Re: FB at No. 24 JMU, 3:30 p.m., ESPN+

What are the odds we see a clean break with Dowell? Looking at him with Chesney last night, with his kid on the sideline, and the post game presser, he certainly looks checked out. I realize he would be leaving money on the table probably. Don't you think that might be the worst possible outcome?

Re: Stink discussion

Gillins seat is blistering his ass right now. It should be. He started this. He inherited satt, drive him off and started our downfall. Outside of facility investments, the game day ops and teams have steadily declined The $3-4M a year lured Satt away, go grind your axe for idiots, no one believes ...

Re: ODU Discussion

I guess here is where Im at..... I thought we would get smoked by four touchdowns. We lost by 3 to a good ODU team.....at their place....on homecoming. We all want to win but I'm not as upset about this as some are. Are they a good team? No one is a bigger homer than me, but it’s funny how you of a...

Whew, he missed it again. 10-7 going into the half. We get the ball to start the half so we are in good position to take the lead.
Hardly seems possible. But, at this point we need to win this one.

Re: ODU Discussion

We are a really bad football team. We might end up winning this game. But gosh, there is so little talent on this squad.

Woods went 4-7 in his first year (1984) and 8-3 in year two. Given the mess Loggains inherited, I'd be quite satisfied of we go 6-6 this year and 9-3 next year.

Re: Coastal - 3:30pm - Discussion

It doesn't seem like we have anywhere near the talent we had several years ago. It feels like we are in full rebuild mode. In some ways, that's to be expected.

Re: East Tower

Setting aside the financing, which is a big issue. How will this be done? When the West tower was built, they cut into the hill behind the stadium to make room for the tower. The East side concourse is pretty narrow and don't know how much usable space there is between the stadium and Stadium Dr.
