We are in need of someone to take over the maintenance of the MMB. Yosef has done it for a long time, and we are grateful for all he has done, but life happens and he no longer has the time to devote to its upkeep. If anyone here is interested in helping to keep the board running, please let me know via DM.

Re: WHAT A DAY --- SEE #5
Still happens a few times a year, someone up here will see me in my ASU gear and it sparks a conversation. Used to be they assumed I was some tOSU guy trying to stir shit up, but enough time has passed that they ask if I went there first.

Re: Preseason Projections
Every season is basically a complete new team. This, right here, needs to be burned into the brains of every fan of every school now, regardless of where you sit on the totem pole. While schools like us will feel this harder than others will, NOBODY is immune to getting poached. The days of a five ...

Re: NIL and future of NCAACF
Interesting points. Are the good G5’s even trying to recruit the higher rated players anymore? I’m sure they still try but you can almost ask what’s the point? Flip side is that if the higher rated G5’s became in essence the triple A and the top tier high school players came for 2 years then if goo...

Re: 2025 Football Schedule updates
I switched my giving from YC to the general funds a while ago. That was before NIL and the portal made this a rent-a-player situation, but until that changes I will not give any to YC just so we can borrow people for a year or two. I don't care if we go 0-12 or 12-0, I stand firm on that. I'll give ...

Re: NIL and future of NCAACF
At the high school level we are seeing a lot of sports (not just football and basketball) getting harder for seniors to land major D1 spots. The trickle down effect is leading to more kids going the mid-major or D2 route and asked to work their way up. We can benefit for a season or two if played c...

Re: Good thoughts for others who's kids hurt them
First off, congrats to your daughter!
While my oldest, a senior, has decided to go out of state I have two others that have their eyes firmly locked on UM (and they will have no issues with regards to grades getting in there, they got their mom's brain) there ain't much of an in-state discount there.

Couple that with the increase in roster size, it's going to get unsustainable for all but a very small few.

Re: Onto the Next
Well, if we don’t have the financial ability to fire a coach, then I seriously doubt we have the financial ability to compete in today’s game. Welcome to our future. We have been doing it (relatively) underfunded for decades now. But NIL and the portal have changed the game completely and we do not...

Re: Emotions vs. Analytics
Personally, Joey is the best example of what's wrong with this team. He was Joey Dimes last year. He had one of the best statistical years of any FBS QB. Now this year. He's the same kid as last year. He made a ton of questionable decisions that paid off. A lot of 50/50 balls hit for us last year. ...

Re: The cancer on this program is
Because it’s your duty as a student to help fund athletics (I don’t mean NIL payments to players) and the school as a whole. Most students are only there because of the notoriety the school received because of football wins. It improved everything from new buildings and better students. Personally,...

Re: Home Season Moving Forward
I'm curious what people actually in the area that drive around Boone daily think of adding the influx that would come for a game, and take accounting that there will be no hotels available for people to stay so its an in and out deal. 20k students coming back over the weekend for good is probably m...

Re: I am with you Coach Clark
I don't if he means to, but Clark comes off an dishonest at various points in his press conferences, especially regarding personnel. "We came out of Clemson healthy." Then five key players are out versus ECU, some of them season ending. That was the worst one. After Marshall, he was asked about rep...

Re: Official Cypress Lake prediction thread
I will be in my recliner, with my Xbox S on my lap, playing the 2027 season of my App State dynasty. I'll occasionally look up and be reminded that, for this year at least, the video game is the way to go. As a side note, I have 3 seasons worth of evidence that App needs to hire my boy Score Moore t...

Re: Candidates
If we get to 5 wins or better, coach stays on for 2025. Helene, and everything surrounding it, has bought him a pass on this year - that's almost a given. The only way I see him being let go is if we totally go into the dumpster and only manage 2 or fewer wins the rest of the way. But if we can even...

Re: I am with you Coach Clark
I just don't see how they would decide to pull the trigger on a six figure buyout after 12/1 with things as they are in the area. The optics would be terrible and the decision tone deaf. People can't get in and out of their houses but we'll pop for 500k to get rid of a football coach, plus whatever...
