We are in need of someone to take over the maintenance of the MMB. Yosef has done it for a long time, and we are grateful for all he has done, but life happens and he no longer has the time to devote to its upkeep. If anyone here is interested in helping to keep the board running, please let me know via DM.

Re: NIL and future of NCAACF
If the settlement works like they all expect this could actually be a good thing for App State and all smaller schools. I say this because although there is a lot of bad (increased scholarships and direct pay from schools, etc) there is also a lot of good in that NIL will be enforced to truly be NI...

Re: Dino on ballot for CF HOF
He had a motor and killer instinct. I remember one game where we lost, can’t remember opponent, but at end they were taking a knee to run out clock and he tried to anticipate snap to dive over line to force QB to fumble. Didn’t work as offsides but he would never quit. Wake Forest, 1985. I was there.

Re: Boone Restaurants Closing
When I was a student there was a gas station on BR Rd that sold 3 hot dogs for 99 cents. Wouldn’t pass sanitation codes now but back in the early 80s it was a great deal for a poor college student. No telling what the hell was in those dogs and I really don’t want to know. I consumed a LOT of those...

Re: 2025 Football Schedule updates
For those who claim they’re not giving any money or buying season tickets anymore due to NIL and Portal - how have your fall Saturday’s in Boone changed one iota due to those two factors? The answer is none. If you truly have stopped giving etc., that’s simply a you problem, not any system. You don...

Re: 2025 Football Schedule updates
I’ve never seen such a mass exodus in my life at a home football game. That was one of the lowest points of the program. Very true, the fans really showed their ass. The team was losing 40 points to a historically inferior conference opponent on a weeknight game. Who showed their ass? Our team was ...

Re: Doeren Scared of App State?
While the argument that there are differences in scholarships and classification is true, that’s not what I am referring to when I was referencing the logic. Doreen never spoke about a talent difference in his remarks. He spoke to playing a “lesser” opponent, and yes, that is what a G5 is considere...

Re: Doeren Scared of App State?
His logic on why they should not play App in Boone is the same logic some on here applied to why App shouldn’t play at Western. Until the P4 breaks away, that is not an apples to apples comparison. NC State and App play the same level of football. App and Western do not. That is a huge difference. ...

Re: NIL and future of NCAACF
Some of the issues could be alleviated with multi year contracts. Make them with a very large buyout if player wants to transfer so developing school gets some renumeration for time spent developing player. Does not solve all issues and sure it could be potentially challenged. But, try something an...

Re: Jon Gruden gets App State package
I have a very good friend, an attorney, who works in licensing at Virginia Tech. While there are obstacles that must be navigated, anything that they want to put VT on can be done. He's done it. Do they make apparel items worn by the teams available for public purchase? I think some of them are and...

Re: Jon Gruden gets App State package
Before the inception of Yosef’s locker, official team gear came out of the athletic department budget and wasn’t made available to retailers to purchase. That isn't the fault of the athletic department. That's the play, if allowed. Instead of one item (what the coach is wearing during the game), op...

Re: NIL and future of NCAACF
Gonna require an antitrust exemption from Congress in order to enforce age limits or eligibility limits or transfer portal rules. I'm guessing collective bargaining and the antitrust exemption come about the same time.

Re: NIL and future of NCAACF
There is a difference between renegotiation and extortion. This dude threatened to sit out the playoff game unless they gave him more money. As much as I hate to say it, collective bargaining is the only solution to this.
