D Lo vs. Gibson . Who made the better hire ?
If you look at on the field results it’s not even close. Marshall lost 35-23 to jmu and will be bowl eligible with a win Saturday. And while we’re on the topic, Gibson REALLY inherited a dumpster fire after Huff left and he’s done pretty well.

Re: FB vs the Thundering Turds, Sat at 2:30

I was in Huntington in '95. After the win, the small contingent of App fans were told by the Huntington police to, "...zip your coats up, take your hats off and walk quietly your cars." I never went back. Glad to hear they have changed. I was there as well, walking out of the stadium smoking a huge...

Re: The Good, The Bad and the Ugly- JMU

The good- rock bottom is a solid foundation. This season may be a wash, but hope springs eternal. There's always next year. I'm just confused about this season. There has to be something going on that we can't see. The regression of play from the offense is just weird. It's not a small regression e...

Re: FB at No. 24 JMU, 3:30 p.m., ESPN+

It has been said here and I have said it in the past. I would much rather see some quality FCS guys than Alabama bench warmers. One you can judge the other is a guess. The game is filled with guys who were studs in HS and never see the field in college. All three of our championship teams would win...

Re: FB at No. 24 JMU, 3:30 p.m., ESPN+

I would love to see a breakdown of G5 (peer schools) in terms of current year record versus prior year and also the amount of roster turnover. Basically how many peer schools have either turned their record around or have dropped off and of those schools what is the number of players who are new th...

Re: FB at No. 24 JMU, 3:30 p.m., ESPN+

What I find funny is that we had people on here defending Clark after 5 years saying we should not fire him yet but we got people wanting Loggains out after 10 games. I am disappointed at the results because I was thinking we had a shot at 6-7 wins but injuries and other things have happened but we...

Someone not wanting to be in a certain location is not a recipe to tank at your job. There are only so many HC, OC jobs. Great way to hurt your reputation and prospects by tanking. I would think he would want to do the opposite. Win your way to next opportunity.. just my opinion Arkansas is gonna n...

Re: FB at No. 24 JMU, 3:30 p.m., ESPN+

I totally understand how frustrating this season is. It is tough to watch a problem that we've made emotional and financial investments in look this bad. But to talk about firing a coach after year one makes us look as irrational as Auburn, and not even they pull the trigger this fast. Also, I didn...

Re: FB at No. 24 JMU, 3:30 p.m., ESPN+

A serious football school would have fired someone today. Anybody. Yesterday was a complete failure by every single coach and player. Accountability is gone Which school, with a first year staff, has fired coaches in the first season after a bad loss? I am genuinely curious for some examples I don’...

Re: FB at No. 24 JMU, 3:30 p.m., ESPN+

Not advocating we do fire him but a successful FCS head coach would likely bring a coherent staff and some talented players with him. High level FCS > low level P4. It’s been proven. In my most humble opinion. Jason Eck is the exact type of coach was should be targeting. Took a bad Idaho team and s...

DLo started in Dec. Re: FB at No. 24 JMU, 3:30 p.m., ESPN+

People need to calm down with firing the coaching staff after one season. It's reactionary and emotional. This season has been one to forget for sure, but how many times did we have to listen to tirades and defenses of this hiring (or about getting rid of Coach Clark) because of how bad the roster ...
