Re: Question about bids
Thank you for the information. Good article. Heard off the cuff from a not-so-reliable source that Woof Woof bid high. Richard Johnson, the AD, said we are going strong with a bid. Again, a source that may be in the wind.

Question about bids
What is the process in acquiring a first round home game? Submitting a monetary bid? What kind of bid does it take and what % goes to the NCAA? How much does the money factor matter? If my team is 11-0 and rolling and I put in a $100 bid, do I still get a home game? Is the bid a guarantee of ticket ...

Re: Illinois State

(2) kill the 3rd down bell - nothing special 'cause most stadiums ring it and it has been a signal for us that other team is gonna get a first down. (3) on Labor Day, mo...

When a man or a team is down and backed in a corner, when a man or a team ain't got nothing to lose, is injured, tossed about, and doom is on the horizon - now that man becomes a dangerous man and that team becomes most difficult to deal with. The annals of sports are full of such events.

If I like the food, or any product, I'll buy it. If I don't, I won't. And though I despise some of the views of the Hollywooders, if I like their acting it will not keep me from watching their movies. Got to use common sense and keep things separated.

Re: Wofford Schedule
Coach Ayers spoke at our Touchdown Club two weeks ago and stated that he knew very little about his team because of the schedule. Didn't say why he scheduled so weak. He did say his team had great character. ... And they'll have to be stopped past third down because they are notorious for lining up ...
