Very sad news indeed. Prayers for his family. I will always remember how good natured he was, he left a positive impact in what did.

Both saw a dip in enrollment.

From what I've read about this (my daughter is a Queens alum), the two campuses will still exist but Elon will run both. Queens will retain some sense of identity but will not likely remain known as QUC. Not sure how athletics will work.

Didn't the VB team also lose some good young talent to the portal when the previous coach left for another opportunity? I do not follow VB avidly. However, I seem to remember we lost some to portal. If so, makes this even more impressive. I’m not sure but I was thinking the FOY left with coach to SC.

This team has been clutch in 5 set affairs, it seems half of their wins to date have gone that route.

I hear we have a new coach. Can we praise him without continually denigrating the previous one. It was time for a change, the change was made, we like what we got in the new guy, let's judge him on his merits. So far, really good.
