We are not dealing with NIL here (which I totally support). A guy should be able to profit from his name in a video game or on YouTube, whatever. This is pay for play and the inequity is staggering. It will probably take legislation to undo the mess the NCAA created.

If these players are now employees, they need to each be under contract with a buyout so when SEC teams come a poachin' we can at least get something that helps us fill the holes. How can G5's compete with schools that have 5X our budget?

What hurts me most about this statement is that, yes JMU did get that win, but nobody will ever convince me that without the botched interference call App would have gone on to win that game. Man I hope we pay them back this year!
