We are in need of someone to take over the maintenance of the MMB. Yosef has done it for a long time, and we are grateful for all he has done, but life happens and he no longer has the time to devote to its upkeep. If anyone here is interested in helping to keep the board running, please let me know via DM.

Re: Maryland and Rutgers to Big 10?
A Penn State friend of mine just posted this and I wondered if y'all had seen it. He thinks this makes sense geographically and academically, but the argument becomes whether or not this actually strengthens the conference. Maryland just axed 7 varsity sports for financial reasons and Rutgers appare...

Re: ASU / Western WX Trends.
Hey Jen, we're at North Mrytle Beach (Ocean Drive) this week as I continue to recuperate from my "ticker" surgery. As of 8:20 this evening, we're nearing high tide and the waves are getting tall and angry! Tomorrow and Saturday should be pretty interesting. We're off tomorrow to drive north to Ft. ...

Re: ASU / Western WX Trends.
Up here in the Mid-Atlantic, everything I'm reading boils down to it's either going to be DOOM! or nothing.
Also, I read one of the DOOM! scenarios that said west of the I-95 corridor into the Appalachians would get heavy, wet snow. How likely is that? 'Cause that's some football weather for ya.

If I wanted to relegate him to h*ll, I'd want him to go to Washington or Philadelphia.BUTCH1991 wrote:What do you have against Armanti? Don't relegate him to h*ll, Carolina is bad enough.

Now that the O's are out, I'm rooting for hometown boy Tom Brookens (Tigers first-base coach) to get a ring to match the one from '84.

Re: MLB Baseball NL: Playoffs coming!
Well, it was nice while it lasted. I'll be over on the AL thread now. :D The Reds!! Gotta pull for the Reds... :D Nope. All caught up in that Orioles Magic. ;) While a Beltway Series would be cool, I've come to dislike the Nats, so I'm not pulling for them. I don't care who the NL produces as long ...

Re: Board Changes
It's not just the login. I was coming in by clicking a topic notification link, and I got redirected to a Yosef's Cabin Facebook app. Then I tried just typing in the URL for the MMB and I got redirected to the app again. And I was already logged in, as far as I know.

Zeta Tau Alpha colonization!
Hi everyone! Zeta Tau Alpha will begin the colonization process at App next week! I am SO excited - just wish I could be part of the process! Unlike "regular" sorority recruitment, a colonization recruitment is held over several weeks with our Traveling Leadership Consultants, National Officers, and...

Re: Charlotte hotspots?
My brother in law just started law school at the University of Charlotte. He's 24, had to leave his girlfriend behind in Baltimore, hasn't lived away from home before, etc. It's been a few years since I've been to Charlotte, so I thought maybe some of you could give me some suggestions of things to...
