We are in need of someone to take over the maintenance of the MMB. Yosef has done it for a long time, and we are grateful for all he has done, but life happens and he no longer has the time to devote to its upkeep. If anyone here is interested in helping to keep the board running, please let me know via DM.

Re: NIL and future of NCAACF
Just so people understand what reallocating existing funds means, potentially: cutting sports, cutting staff, reducing scholarships from teams that arent football and basketball, reducing budgets (both for teams and operationally), putting construction projects on hold, among other things that I'm n...

Re: 2025 Baseball Mega Thread
In the last 35 years, we've had 30+ wins 9 times, two of which were 2023 and 2024 under Kermit. Six of the other 7 were in the Chris Pollard run. So we hit your goal 25% of the time. That can be the stated goal, but I think that's also going to lead to disappointment and a lot of coaching turnover i...

Re: FB Play By Play 2025
Present is a great play by play man on the BB broadcasts. Especially good with no color man. Does it very well by himself. If Witten does not return it should be Present 100%. He sounds like Jerry Seinfeld I used to agree with you, and then noticed it a lot less in this years baseball season. I don...

Re: Explain: PlayFly Sports
Are they replacing Learfield Sports and will this have an effect on our radio announcers? yes to replacing learfield. if it effects anyone, it would be adam witten. hes the only one that actually works for learfield, according to google he's the Vice President of Broadcast Operations for learfield....

Re: ACC
Thanks for the clarification. It was a quick google search, and some of these contracts arent readily available, especially as all the realignment happens and some of them change, or people report numbers differently, so I appreciate it. I think my larger point isnt necessarily about the money distr...

Re: ACC
All this talk of more money, switching conferences, etc... the problem is that the Sun Belt media deal is absolute trash and Gill got bent over at the negotiating table. We have like 4 regular season basketball games broadcast on the national network for the whole conference. It might mean playing g...

I trust mine more than I trust yours. But I'm not going to get into a source measuring contest with you over something that is completely irrelevant at this point.

Maybe it would have changed as the season progressed, but when he enrolled, the plan was for him to redshirt. Thats not being a debbie downer. Nor did I call him a superstar.

Re: MBB vs Marshall Sat, 2/22 1:00pm
Was always the plan to redshirt this year, regardless of the injury. Not sure why people on here think he was some magic elixir that we're missing out on this year. Remember that European that got hurt before the season. He actually may have found the players to pull it off, it just didn’t work out....

Re: Onto the Next
Fun fact: Bowl game payouts are distributed to the conference who then distribute it evenly between all the schools in the conference. Instead of losing money going to bowls (travel, housing, food, etc) App actually probably comes out on the plus side by not making a bowl. (NOT THAT THIS IS A GOOD T...

Re: Miller Hill
I like when people complain about a lack of tradition at football games, and then want to take away a tradition that was created organically. I havent been a fan as long as some of you, but it sounds like people have sliding down Miller Hill (and enjoying themselves) for years, and current students ...

Re: White out?
JMU a had a white out tonight. Their team wore purple. Looked like their fans had fun instead of acting like children about it. https://x.com/jacksonhephner/status/1844522368145801698?s=46&t=04-pmAwSUDSvbJHM5wuY5g They don't have the black option. I'd wear white too if it was that or purple. jmu is...

Re: What do we think about this?
Admittedly I didnt read this whole thread, so I apologize that I'm just jumping into the middle of the conversation. It sounds to me like 704 is treating NIL as it was "expected" to be, by the powers that be. You get paid by companies for endorsing their products. 95/97 are making a similar argument...
